I’m Swedish, thanks for a very interesting video. My grandfather used the 6,5 mauser when he was hunting for moose. He used it for decades and never with a scope, just the iron sight.
Sweden made millions of dollars from the Nazi war machine. Officially “neutral” but sold Germany tons of steel until 1943 when the rest of the world pressured them to stop. They also let German troops travel through their country until then as well. Sweden made a lot of money because of Nazi aggression. I love history… no hate
Did he ever take Brown Bear with his Swede...! Its been relayed both Brown & Polar Bears have been hunted regularly and successfully with the 6.5 Swede....!
Husqvarna started as a weapons manufacturer and diversified to things like chainsaws, sewing machines, ovens, and motorcycles over time. Their logo is actually a gun barrel with the sights on top with the H in the barrel.
I watched this once before and about a month later, I found one of these in a local gun store and IMMEDIATELY knew exactly what I was looking at. And it became mine!
I got my M38 in 2011, after high school and It is my favorite rifle. Lovely cartridge, pleasant recoil and very accurate. Mine has a Timney trigger on it though, set to 3.5 lbs. Ahhh, delightful.
I used to shoot a M96 as a kid. In Sweden we have a tradition with civilian clubbs and competitions for 6,5 mm shooting and I used to follow my father on those competitions. There where two kinds of competitions. "Range shooting" ie. shooting at a ringed target at 300 meters. And "Field shooting" where we where divided in to patrols of 12 shooters that marshed along a course where they had arranged stations with different sized targets at various unknown distanses. You had to estimate the distance wich could be from 200 up to 800 meters. Six rounds (one clip + one in the chamber) and about one minute to shoot.
Thanks for the lovely rifles! I have a 96 and 38 myself here in Australia! While im more of a Lee Enfield fanboi,I love the build quality on the Swede's,they undeniably the nicest millsurps In my safe, possibly the best, only contender i suspect would be the Swiss! Havtn shot a Swiss rifle myself.I haven't seen amazing accuracy (2-3moa,my no4 mk2 shoos sub 2moa)out of mine as yet, i noticed a lot seem to run light loads 22-2300fps, ive not loaded this low and will try someday.
Hi Hitckok45 I like your channel! You need to start your own channel. The first thing is to get all the gun tubes & start some thing. You could call it the gun info channel, or guns are us, the 2nd faithful, or the gun tube channel.

He has one of the evil threaded barrels. So, even though you can't put another evil suppressor on this rifle, this one is probably in jeopardy as well.
Its important to understand the history of Sweden staying neutral. Sweden as a nation had decided to keep its people out of war since it had caused immense devastation in the past, being quite a militaristic country before the 20th century. That didnt mean Sweden did not feel a responsibilty to try to help the cause in different ways. Not just with humanitarian aid and harboring Jewish refugees but also in with military support. If you study the Finnish winter war you would know that the military in Sweden internally encouraged soldiers to volontarally fight to preserve the freedom of Finland (there is plenty of interesting Swedish propaganda to look at). Thousands of Swedes volontereed and the army sent weapons, munitions, vehicles and so on. Great vid H Keep it up.
"What? You mean you are going to invade my mother? You don't want to sleep outside with the dog, tonight, do you?" This was roughly Mrs Goering reaction, I believe. Maybe it did not happen at all but it still should be considered a good reason for not invading Sweden. LOL LOL LOL
My Swedish Mausers are some of my favorites, right behind the M1 Garand. The Mausers are sweet shooting! Back in the Clinton Era , I think it was SARCO, sold Swedish Mauser parts. I picked up a New M96 Barrel for like $100. I had also gotten a Turkish Mauser for like $38, I was gonna convert that 8mm to a 6.5 x 55.... put scope rings on it, make it a sniper type gun. Never got to that project.
Thanks for another great video! I have an M96 in pretty good shape and it's sweet and butter smooth. And the Swedes NEVER used corrosive primers so bores are usually GREAT. Very underrated in the US - but the Swedes use them for hunting MOOSE.
500 years from now, one of hickok45's descendants will make a video showcasing the new quaalgoth x-33 plasma capacitor rifle "definitely not like gramp's auto 5 but packs a helluva punch and melts right through class II titanium plating with ablative coating. Thanks for allowing me to test this beauty neighbour!"
Very nice rifle! I inherited my Father's Swedish Mauser and gave it to my brother. I did shoot it first of course! I have a Norwegian Krag now in 6.5/55 Swiss that I love!
15 years ago I traded a Gerber Multi Tool for a 1943 Husqvarna 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser from a friend who just did not have a need for this great rifle. It came with a bayonet and the frog plus 20 stripper clips. I love the accuracy of these rifles.
Bought a 98 years ago when I was 19 (mid-50’s now). Restocked it, cut and crowned the barrel but left the step in it. Excellent rifle!. I’ve shot everything from pronghorn , deer, elk, moose, and mountain goat with it. Loved the Swede so much I found a modern one/ ruger as well. But I prefer to shoot the old Husky. Husky is a great company. They also make a fantastic sewing machine and dirt bike! Thanks for the great content.
The free knowledge I got from all his videos is awesome.....I been watching Hickok 45 for a long time....I want to say I watch every video he made....And if I didn't watch everyone it's pretty close.....This man knows how to teach.....
Thanks for these videos Hickok. I'm a Brit and back in the days when it was possible to own firearms in the UK I was into competition shooting. I've owned a number of the guns you've talked about on this channel, Browning Hi Power, Ruger Black Hawk, Enfield 577 rifle and a Colt Navy 36 cal, to name but a few. Its great to see those same guns in action after all these years. Just hope the "Nanny State" doesn't block your vids.
You might already know it, but here it comes anyway. If you want to close the action uncocked (when empty) just hold the trigger when closing the bolt. I myself hunt with a m38 chamberd in 9,3x57. Thank you for a good show 👍🏻🙂
Agree totally, everything about these rifles is just right. Mine is a 1901 Carl Gustav manufacture. Timber is excellent, some minor mismatched parts but all the important bits are matching. Shoots like a dream & has the micrometer rear sight & flash hider. Even in Australia these are relatively common & reasonably priced.
Thank you, Hickok, for a wonderful beginning to Saturday: a great video about a wonderful rifle that fires a terrific round, a good cup of coffee, a nice weather day, and my alma mater is “still dancing.” When you’re our age, pleasure often resides is small, joyous things.
i had a minty M96 built in 1905 that i FOOLISHLY traded off (instantly regretted the trade, but a deal's a deal)....PHENOMENAL Rifle and cartridge...Thanks Hickok !
I had one of the older models that had been cut down I absolutely loved the gun loved the 6.5 x 55 round. It shoots fast and flat I have retired from hunting but I have made up to a 900 yard shot with it. It's just a sweet rifle.
Previously owned a 1899 Obendorf Mauser that was awesome and still have a 1906 M96 numbers matching that is my favorite bolt gun it can shoot great farther than I can see.
Well built, good steel, and same cartridge as Norwegian Krags. :) * * Before anyone says that the Krag couldn't handle these hot loads, they shot excactly the same ammo for 60-70 years, before some Krags showed material fatigue.
In the garnisons we always took away the bolt and kept it apart from the rifle. Often in a separate safe. The Electro engraving was put there to make it easier to find your own bolt when you picked up your rifle for usage.
I've had my M38 for about 7yrs now and it really is a beautiful rifle, well balanced and incredibly accurate! I also have 2 Swiss K31's 7.5, also very accurate. The swede feels better.
I have a 1941 Husqvarna Swedish Mauser too! Beautiful gun to use and very well made. Exceptionally accurate after all these years. Thanks for the video! Much appreciated.
Hickok45, thanks for the knowledge of Swedish Mauser's and teaching me the history of them. Also you can't bet a Swedish bolt action they are as smooth as butter. Hickok45 for life
Just got my M38 back from the range. Did some testing with Prvi Partisan Match Ammo with excellent results. Front sight was replaced with higher blade to shoot spot on at 100 yards. Very little drop to 200 yards. Also tested some reduced loads with 140gr boat tails. I won't give data here, but suffice to say I used the 60% reduction of the max load with H4895. Also used RedDot from "The Load" by CE Harris. Both reduced loads were excellent, and much easier on the shoulder. Husqvarna knew what they were doing when they took on the manufacturing of these fine guns.
Another great firearm/historical video. Good comment about the "discovery" of the 6.5 round that the Swedes used 100 years ago. Kentucky is sorry we exiled you those many years ago. Please come back (to visit) anytime. :-)
I have a Mod 38 I mounted a scope on and its amazing. I have every rifle ever chambered for 6.5 x 55 including the AG-42 or Ljungman. My favorite rifle cartridge.
🇸🇪 hi! I’m a Swede to. Thanks for the information. When I was 14 years old. I start to shoot Mauser. As a sporting. We where out in field shooting. Then at that age it was very fun. Although we small teenager had little pain after a day at the range. But I liked it a lot. Now I’m eager to get hold of on again. I’m shooting pistol and revolver. But we have decide to start practising rifle shooting as well in our club. Thanks a lot Hickok. 😊
Nice shooting Hickok45! have owned one of these M38 rifles for 35 years and love the calibre and rifle. Here down under in Oz they are reasonable common. Love the calibre so much that I have purchased a Brno ZKK600 in the same calibre and added a nice scope to have the best of both worlds. As you say....life is good! Keep up the great work and stay safe.
I bought a 6.5x55 from a gun store in Phoenix (Legendary Guns) sometime between the late 80-90's. I was ignorant about the caliber but the bore was about the size of a 270 which I hunted with so I bought it as a backup hunting rifle for about $115-125. Thought it was a good deal because hunting rifles went for $250-350 at the time. Purchased a box of ammo and was blown away at the $35 cost for a box of 20. Only Norma was available. Winchester 270 was about $12 at the time. Shortly after an American gun company started making guns in this caliber and the price of ammo plunited as other companies started producing it. I thought it was "cute" and would be a nice rifle if I ever met a woman interested in hunting. For several years it rode in a double rifle case as I hunted in beautiful Arizona. One day my hunting buddy Jim Hamilton saw it and asked to look at it. He handled it and after a while he said..."you don't know what you have do you?". As a smart ass I said it is a 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser. He then proved I did not know what I had. He built guns and made one in this caliber for his father. He said he was very proud of that rifle until he saw mine. With a deer in the headlight look I said "what is so special about this?" He then pointed out the action was jeweled, the bolt handle was turned down a bit, beep blueing, the stock was sporterized and a lot of metal was removed from the barrel. Let's say pencil thin!! I had no idea what my rifle looked like before it's makeover. It sports a 4 power scope made in Japan that even with the internet I cannot indetiny the maker. The glass it crisp and clear. This thing shot an inch high at 100 yards from the first time I shot it and it still does! When I was checking out the salesman told me that "blah blah blah" customized the rifle for his wife. Ignorant "ME" thought he was talking about the scrimshaw with a Pronghorn sheep that replaced the metal disk in the stock. About 2012 I went back to the store and asked if anyone remembered the rifle. The same guys were there but no one remembered. Perhaps the person's name is under the action but it would mean taking off the stock. The rifle is very light and have a stout kick to it. Gets warm after three shots.
Been meaning to for a while, but just rejoined the NRA through your link, and I think it's especially poignant today . Keep up the instruction. Love your contribution to the shooting community. I have been watching for at least 5 or 6 years..... Thankful for you and John.
Years ago my grandfather won a 6.5x55 Swedish in a card game he took it apart cut it down a little bit, reblued it and took a cherry wood beam out of the old sawmill and carved a new stock for it with a cheek plate to fit my Dad. Its a work of art. And seems it fits me like it was made for me. You want to talk about the sweetest rifle I ve fired. If I can see it I can hit it. Now I know what the hell it is. Thank you.
Really? Was also thinking about it but came to the conclusion that they will do nothing for me since im no US citizen nor i live in the US. But i think i can understand you somehow, im entirely sick of reading the news today here in europe. Only the anti gunners came to speech who even dont know what they are talking about (AK15s, bumpstocks convert a semi to full auto and stuff). Why not invite hickock or somebody else and listen/read to his opinion aswell. And in the end it comes down, that it is not our buiseness what US laws are. If they are like their guns, let them. At least i can understand that
Thanks for your support, Fredrik! Wish you could visit here in the Midwest and go shooting on my personal range (up to 500 meters). It snowed quite a lot today so you would feel right at home!
I am the curator, user and conservator of a Swedish Rolling block rifle, a great shooting 1896 and a CG 80 target rifle. Love my Swedish rifles and likely one day will own a nice M 38.
I was given a 6.6X55 Swedish Mauser short barrel rifle that my grandfather bought as surplus probably in the 50's. For a long time all I could find was Norma ammunition for it. I'm glad Federal has ammo for it, maybe now I can get it out and shoot it again. I also got his 6.5 Carcano, also only found Norma ammo for it.
My dad bought a Swedish Mauser carbine from Sears in the '50s for about $35. I looked up the serial number, and it was manufactured in 1913. He sporterized it and turned it into his favorite deer rifle. I always thought it was manufactured by Mauser, but may have been mistaken. The barrel was a little short to be legal in the US nowadays. It certainly barked when you shot it. Dad said it was issued to ski troops.
It really is the crème of the crop when it comes to the 93 mauser family. From what I read, the carl gustaf made mausers were probably the best quality above even OWGs. I purchased one from a guy at my local range and that thing just tears up the 12 and 16 inch ringers at 200-400 yards with my hand loaded 140 grain NOSler custom competition loads, with about 38 grains of reloader 17. Makes me wish I had gotten one with the scope mount and german made optic on it, it could probably shoot in my local PRS matches. At 50 yards with 143 ELD Xs it was shooting about .75"-1.5" 5 round groups. Love this thing even above my springfield 03
I used to have a 1917 Swedish Mauser , Carl Gustaf Stads . It looked shorter than those. Short with the stock going all the way to the end of the barrel. Shot great.
I wish you good fortune against the wide-angled ban hammer that will consider your videos to be potentially harmful. I hope you come out okay on the other end, Hickok.
NEW SUB HERE !! jus got me a gustav 1899 and I’m just thrilled. I’ve always been a German loyalist, I realize now that the Swedes do not screw around when it comes to “bringing death to others” the Argentinian Mauser has my attention as well.
The wooden blanks were used in the Swedish military up till the 90:ths with the AK4, as far as i know, i made service in 86-87. Probably used nowdays to. And for the Swedish K, we used a plastic bullet with a loose shot pipe, as they were called.
I subscribed to you and my dad subscribed to you and he can’t stop watching your videos! He probably already watched this video. Your channel is all he ever watches he always laughs at your videos and gives them thumbs up and he has commented on one of your videos
Here from Oz .. got a Husq M38 about 40 yrs ago for $190 odd all mint with matching serial nos,.was tapped and I put a weaver 6x scope on it .. priksyte rounds were about $10 per box but I handloaded easily with hunting rounds and humanely culled (for the pot .. best curry) many a feral capra (they didn't even blink) out to 500m).. what you could see you could nail. The m41 ammo would drill through hardwood trees 2foot thick .. have 2x 200 round battle packs still which I'm loathe to open. We don't need no other steenkin chainsaw !
Hey folks, I seen this beautiful firearm on a local website, and noticed it was labelled wrong, so I called about it,turned out to be a m38 Swedish mauser in excellent shape, now it's all mine, best money ever spent, awesome shooter, very nice caliber, dead on to boot, this one is a keeper for sure, keep the videos coming my friend. Shakyjake out!
Love the 6.5x55 I have an all matching m-38 and it's an excellent shooter. I even hunt black bear up here in Canada with a Howa 1500 in 6.5x55 and have taken multipal calve moose with it as well.
The Howard 1500 in 6.5x55 is great. Very light recoiling rifle with plenty of down range energy for most game. Adult moose and large black bear I think you'd be better off with the 300 win you have despite the recoil. One thing I will mention is at any range beyond 250 yards it really likes the 140 grain projectiles over the lighter stuff.
I wouldn't want to bother Hickok 45 in a bad way. You know that push come to shove, you might regret feeling like that gong in the iron sights. Thanks for your consistently good videos, better content than my pay TV can provide, and on demand without tiresome ads. RUclips will be really stupid to interfere with some of these respectable and responsible gun channels.
Thanks for the video ! I always appreciate them and historical back ground give. If you would like to try a Swedish M 1894/14 carbine let me know, I'll send it down. 😉🙂
I had a very nice 1942 Husqvarna M38 awhile back that I got for a very good price. Sold it to help make a down payment on a car and have really been missing it since. Been keeping my eyes open locally for one but have yet to see one come up in my LGS's. Was also on vacation in Denver last week and went to a gunshow there, didn't see a single one!
Awesome! I've got a 1942 as well, although some egghead went and put a synthetic stock on it sometime before I knew it existed - otherwise numbers matching on receiver, bolt, barrel and so on...Curious, what's the serial number on yours? 644044 is mine.
the chief operating officer of our house, just also mentioned the fine sewing machines Husqvarna makes, she said, " and you can't buy them in a hardware store or gun shop. Love that women! she sews like I shoot, accurately and with care of action.
I owned three Swedish Mausers, sold them to a friend in Alaska. Hickok is right, they are the best Mauser, and most accurate Mauser made. Butter smooth action. Besides the bent bolt, to tell a Husqvarna from a Carl Gustav. The Crown on a Husqvarna is stamped at an angle, the stamp on the Carl Gustav is vertical Some Carl Gustavs have had the bolt, bent, after the fact. You will also note, on the back site, the notch , for 600 meters and over, is cut a little to the left. This counter corrects for centrifigul drift to the right. The rifling for these firearms is 7.9, American rifles have rifling is 8. I now use a Ruger M77 in 6.5 X 55
the swedish people didnt get a say in letting the immigrants in. the government just let them in, because EU gave the government ALOT of money for it. anyone who made their voice heard about it in the "wrong" way was called racist by media.. our government sold our country..... very democratic....
Hej från Amerika. And as for any government (not necessarily the citizens of those countries) letting in immigrants from hostile Middle-Eastern nations, you are destroying your own national identities and allowing islamic terror to grow and spread. Well done.
Pro pronounciation tips for english, from Sweden: (I realise R's are pretty difficult, so you guys are exempt from those. Hickok, too, is exempt because of his already stellar grasp and complete mastery of the language) Husqvarna - Who's-Qvarna Gevär - Yeh-Vhere (imagine Where or Ware or Tear with a V, like Vare) Automat - Aw-Too-Mawt Kpist M/45 - Caw-Pissed M-Fir-Tee-Femme (not going to bother with the full Kulsprutepistol, and it means Bulletsprayingpistol, pretty much) Granat - Graw-Naught (weight on the last word) Now use what you learned to combine these words to form other things. What swedish military equipment can YOU name? I gave you a few choices and I grade on a curve.
This is one of the most serious and instructive RUclips channels! Thank you, Mr. Hickok!!! I hope "they" rethink and stop their liberal, senseless agenda.
Great video as always! I picked up a 1915 model 96 / 38 a few weeks ago and it's got a lot of history in the stock but the steel is beautiful. Just got in some cartridges for it and am looking forward to trying it out shortly.
There's an old lady I check on every now and then and she had 20 rifles rusting in the attic. I asked her if I could clean them and store them someplace in her house where they won't rust. And not kidding 15 of them are Swedish mausers in different configurations. 3 of them were severely corroded but the rest were fine after a good cleaning.
No this is something recent, I bought her some rifle rods to fit all her rifles in the safe she never uses. And.... she forgot the password so that is fun.
I used to have a 1938 in 6.5, in the same condition. I was lucky getting it, and sold it for about 3x what I paid for it. It was beautiful, but ammo was hard to get, and I wasn't a collector.

Hey, 4 yrs later, still happy with the buy?
Coffee and Hickok, no need for Saturday morning cartoons. Life is good.
danz beard there you go, mate!
It's about 26m in...and I think I see it on the horizon... Oh damn.... HE BEAT ME!
Mauser bolt action rifles have the sweetest sound when chambering another round

Long time lurker. God bless you Hickok and all American Patriots. Thank you for the years of enjoyment and education

Hell yea, nothing likes a 6.5 between the eyes, especially some good quality hand loads in 6.5x55.
STREET SHARKS BEDFORD POINT fine for black bear, little light for grizzly (especially coastal) or polar bear lol.
I really like the swedish mauser, greetings from Norway

Hickok is like the gun loving grandpa I never had. By far my favorite gun related youtuber.

Great video. I have a M38, M96 and a AG42B. All are great 6.5mm Swede rifles. The M38 was my first bolt gun I bought.
Glad your still up and running!you only got the chaisaw because the manufacturer made that thing true shooter companion!!great old rifle!
Honestly just watching your vids and hearing your voice sooths me. Keep up the good work sir and good luck from the uk
Stay strong Hickok (and son)!
* Before anyone says that the Krag couldn't handle these hot loads, they shot excactly the same ammo for 60-70 years, before some Krags showed material fatigue.
Continue to fight the good fight! Never give them an inch, for they will surely take a mile.
One of my favorite rifles and rounds. It is a good deer and hog round here in Texas🤠
I have model 38 I got at a gun show last year still covered in cosmoline it’s 119 years old and shoots like a dream
I own two these lovely Swedish Mauser rifles, absolutely piece of artwork, so enjoy them, try to get one when you still can afford!
Life is good, even here in Michigan. Thanks for making these awesome videos, Greg & John.
Thank you.
Just signed up for NRA membership. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Thank you for your support friend, take care!!
could i join being from Australia ?. I would love to support the freedoms of America. all the best from backwards Australia.
Funderar på att göra likadant..
Thinking of doing the same..
That is a beautiful piece of history and workmanship. :)
I used to have a 1917 Swedish Mauser , Carl Gustaf Stads . It looked shorter than those. Short with the stock going all the way to the end of the barrel. Shot great.
Yes nothing better said; don't mess with us and we'll not mess with you...That's called living at peace with one another.
I wish you good fortune against the wide-angled ban hammer that will consider your videos to be potentially harmful. I hope you come out okay on the other end, Hickok.
Ah"come out on the other end."
Good gun joke.
NEW SUB HERE !! jus got me a gustav 1899 and I’m just thrilled. I’ve always been a German loyalist, I realize now that the Swedes do not screw around when it comes to “bringing death to others” the Argentinian Mauser has my attention as well.
Beautiful firearm, very well kept, and taken care of over the years! You have a great channel!
I know a guy that lives in america...and he knows a lot about guns and rifles...even more then smith and wesson....
His name is hickok
Hickok 45.
Here from Oz .. got a Husq M38 about 40 yrs ago for $190 odd all mint with matching serial nos,.was tapped and I put a weaver 6x scope on it
.. priksyte rounds were about $10 per box but I handloaded easily with hunting rounds and humanely culled (for the pot .. best curry) many a feral capra (they didn't even blink) out to 500m).. what you could see you could nail. The m41 ammo would drill through hardwood trees 2foot thick .. have 2x 200 round battle packs still which I'm loathe to open. We don't need no other steenkin chainsaw !
Praying for you and your channel!
How's the howa in 6.5? I have one in 300 win mag and it's a bit excessive to be honest
I really love your channel 👍
With best regards from germany.
love the video. My father gave me a M38 when I was a teen, I'm just now getting into this gun and love it. Thank for the video, great info
Thanks for the video, those rifles are gorgeous, history behind it is very intersting as well.
Great video as usual.I love to hear your knowledge of life and guns.I watch all your videos. You're a real inspiration.
Swede Mausers rock! If you have an inkling that you want to shoot VIMBAR matches, the Swede is a great way to go. Accurate and soft shooting.
It is such a pleasant cartridge to shoot, I was buying one before I spotted my 7.5 Schmidt Ruben K31 (now that's nice to shoot)
Sweet rifle! My buddy has a Husky chainsaw, that thing is almost impossible to start,I'll stick with my good, old Stihl!
*Video starts*
*Gunshot*
Hickok: “Hah-ha!”
Me: 😄
Cool to see a hickok45 video about a rifle from Husqvarna since im sitting in Huqvarna right now :D
Grettings from Sweden
You have found one of the good things in life there. I have two of them myself. Life is good in sweden too.
Two for me also...picked them up years ago and Great Shooters. Love these rifles.
Awesome! I just bought a Husqvarna M/38 a few days ago and am impatiently waiting for it to arrive.
Thanks for the video ! I always appreciate them and historical back ground give. If you would like to try a Swedish M 1894/14 carbine let me know, I'll send it down. 😉🙂
thumbs for Hickok still being on
I had a very nice 1942 Husqvarna M38 awhile back that I got for a very good price. Sold it to help make a down payment on a car and have really been missing it since. Been keeping my eyes open locally for one but have yet to see one come up in my LGS's. Was also on vacation in Denver last week and went to a gunshow there, didn't see a single one!
I have a M38, Husqvarna 1942 manufacture date. Treasure, I'll never sell. Keep on going, Hickock!
The Crown on a Husqvarna is stamped at an angle, the stamp on the Carl Gustav is vertical
Some Carl Gustavs have had the bolt, bent, after the fact.
Glad you're still around. I know how youtube loves videos about theses "scary assault rifles".
Greetings from sweden
the swedish people didnt get a say in letting the immigrants in. the government just let them in, because EU gave the government ALOT of money for it. anyone who made their voice heard about it in the "wrong" way was called racist by media.. our government sold our country..... very democratic....
Hello from Denmark your GREAT nabo 😂
Ron the gun Man nabo?
Hej från Amerika.
And as for any government (not necessarily the citizens of those countries) letting in immigrants from hostile Middle-Eastern nations, you are destroying your own national identities and allowing islamic terror to grow and spread. Well done.
Wow This became very political very fast.
I have had the same rifle for many years, Great shooter, very happy with it
Pro pronounciation tips for english, from Sweden:
(I realise R's are pretty difficult, so you guys are exempt from those. Hickok, too, is exempt because of his already stellar grasp and complete mastery of the language)
Husqvarna - Who's-Qvarna
Gevär - Yeh-Vhere (imagine Where or Ware or Tear with a V, like Vare)
Automat - Aw-Too-Mawt
Kpist M/45 - Caw-Pissed M-Fir-Tee-Femme (not going to bother with the full Kulsprutepistol, and it means Bulletsprayingpistol, pretty much)
Granat - Graw-Naught (weight on the last word)
Now use what you learned to combine these words to form other things.
I just brought one home a couple days ago beautiful rifle .can't wait to take it to the range ...tommarow Sunday gunday
