Actually alot of Danish people settled in Argentina in the 1890s. The have quite a Big community in Argentina today and many still speak Danish. So colonizing it is actually just semi-historicaly accurate Ludi!
Lots of Germanic people settled in Argentina, for some reason the was a massive spike around 1945. Really not sure why, someone should really look into it 🤨

ok but a technocracy has nothing to do with obtaining or being ahead in technology... A technocracy is a form of government in which the decision-maker or makers are selected based on their expertise in a given area of responsibility, particularly with regard to scientific or technical knowledge.

I feel that the game should incorporate some kind of Monroe Doctrine, since every episode where Ludi plays a European country, he colonizes South America and puppets the countries there.

I personally think Vici could need individual focus trees for some decisions, like in Hoi. The german leadership play e.g. comes very close to this, but it's not enough, I think.

To be fair, I found that Senegal is a lot better to colonize. One just has to be quick about it, but the amount of farms, coal, oil, etc. there is to obtain increases the SoL by a lot.

Finland is not a Nordic culture it is however Scandinavian difference. Scandinavian cultures are all the cultures where their homeland is on the Scandinavian peninsula which Denmark doesn't really fit although they used to have land there I guess and they are close af to the other Nordic ones that are (except for Iceland,same deal there tho) so ye culture makes sense the land formation requirements has to do with it being formerly swedish land for quite some time and probably because Finland is infact in Scandinavia
Hi Ludi, if you want to help grow your economy quicker I suggest you only build construction good buildings in the first few years (iron, wood, tools etc.) so you get a strong and cheap construction industry. Then you can build a lot more industries like glassworks, food industries, etc.

well, i always try and puppet argentina, chile, and later bolivia-peru. they are great income sources and the areas you can colonize do not have the malaria modifier

The rotten, pickled herring is incredibly foul from what i've heard and thankfully i have never had the displeasure to be close to an opened can of pickled herring.
But something that is very common in sweden is "Sill" (i dont know the english word for it), and that is often eaten during holidays, and it fits perfectly with potatoes.

Regarding forming nations and getting the states incorporated. I think it's a bit much if you get 100% incorporated instantly. How about you get it for free but it takes 5 years? So, no bureaucracy cost, but still a time cost?

If you look at Karelia, it has Finish homeland, but cannot be used to form Scandinavia.
I think that exploitation is better because people in the non state will more likely move to states.
