Beautiful! I love the Flathead NF area and Glacier National Park. Just returned from their last week and I’m missing it so. The Mountains are calling and I must return. Love those Larch in the Fall.

WHEN I VISITED THE GRAND CANYON IN THE EARLY 70'S IT WAS QUIET AND PRISTINE. WE WERE HUMBLED ,AND THE ONLY TWO PEOPLE LOOKING OUT AT THE INCREDIBLE SITE. I WENT BACK IN THE 90S AND 2,000S, IT HAD BECOME A TOURIST TRAP SO CROWDED YOU COULDNT SEE THE CANYON. THE ENTIRE PLANET HAD CONVERGED ON THE CANYON AT ONCE,A TOWER OF BABBLE ,RARELY HEARD ENGLISH SPOKEN, AND SAW A LACK OF RESPECT FOR WHAT THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE WITNESSING.
IT WAS NOISY, OMG!

foxes, coyotes, squirrels, chipmunks, badgers, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, mountain lions, deer, elk, moose, eagles, owls, ravens and other small rodents and birds.
