    Man, your tanks are so nice! Finally got my 350 setup last week and my AP700 came in today. Wishing my cycle would go faster haha.

      Thanks :,( Didn't pay off cutting that corner. UV seems way to critical to skimp on ever again.

    So much to take in for just one viewing. Must be watched a few times to appreciate all the details. 💔My broken heart goes to the school. 💔

      Thanks, yeh it's a bit of a shambles array of footage. Was very upset about the poor cardinals. Lesson learn. Uv on everything from now on!

      Someday I will be brave enough to tell everyone about the things I have killed by some thing I did or didn't do.
      For now I try to encourage the brave, who try to do what no man has done before. No worries, your successes far outweigh all the rest! Forgive yourself and just keep swimming.

    👍🏼 525.. Anything you would have done different on the 750? Equipment, Scape, setup, etc etc..

    • @NaturalReefing
      @NaturalReefing  7 лет назад +1

      The things that are different are the things that wanted to do different... if that makes sense. The skimmer have gone much larger than the 525 and a different brand as the Nyos power cord is really short and a pita to clean. Also went with a different approach the the scape by keeping it really low and small to allow for large sps colonies to fill the water space rather than have to trim back smaller colonies because the display if full of rock work. Also nice and low so that what you are viewing is the sps not sps sitting on scape up at the water lvl.

    Love the tanks! I’m waiting on my 750, still debating on lighting. Why did you choose there 56s over 4 26s like the deluxe package?

    • @NaturalReefing
      @NaturalReefing  7 лет назад

      Thank you! Great choice! It works out a lot more value for money with 3 x 52HD vs 4 x 26HD. By the time you buy the 4 26's with brackets its very similar in price to buying 3 52's with bracket. Then when you take into consideration the 3 52's provides 12 led pucks compare to the 8 with 4 26's it works out a lot better. Instead of running 26's flat out able to dial the 52's down while still providing 50% more lighting.

    ??looks amazing!! can you give me a link to the clear acrylic box that you have there inside the tank

  • @shawnriv9

    Do you think that all could of been avoided if they were QT before added the display?

    • @NaturalReefing
      @NaturalReefing  6 лет назад

      Definitely! Could've treated them straight away. When they first broke out was trying to organize something to save them but it was just so fast that unfortunately i failed them :(
      Also adding them before getting the uv on the tank as they were out of stock was the second bad move. Already understood the crucial importance of uv sterilizers but will never add fish to a system with out one now.

    Amazing tanks.
    I just have a Silly question pal
    I'd you have a new second tank, with 2 starfish on your new Sand bed. What are you going to feed them?
    I just added a sifting star fish to my 1year old tank and I am a bit worried about it🤔

    • @NaturalReefing
      @NaturalReefing  7 лет назад +1

      Thank you! No such thing as a silly question, only silly mistakes from not asking the right questions :P Sifting starfish was one of the first CUC we have 12 months ago. He is still going strong and has been the best eater of diatoms on the sand bed. Not to sure if they are supposed to eat that technically but can notice a patch of diatoms or algae spawn in a spot and by the next day he will be in there all over it sifting that sand back to crispy white. Got 3 this time to add one more to the 525 and leave 2 in the 750. Also the amount of coral feeding probably supplies a lot of food source for them.

    Your tanks and photography are stunning. Sorry you got ich, will you keep the tank fallow for the recommended 76 days? I also started the red sea coral colors and am getting polyp extension once again.

    • @NaturalReefing
      @NaturalReefing  7 лет назад +1

      Thank you! Will get the uv on there and run for a couple weeks. Uv will kill it quickly. Have treated ich with just the uv in the past let alone with no fresh cycles. Great news on the coral colours working for you too. Seems like such a comprehensive system. Each product includes so many elements. Live for PE :P

    What was those acrylics tubes .
    What was the thing that you stuck to the glass that fish love it so much they couldn’t stop nipping at it?

    • @NaturalReefing
      @NaturalReefing  7 лет назад

      Check out the Filter Sock Upgrades video. It has a link and description for them. That is a Vitalis Marine Grazer tabs. Comes with the little suction cup device to attach them to the glass. The fish love them!

    Evening
    How come the RBTA anemone is in a box?

    • @NaturalReefing
      @NaturalReefing  7 лет назад

      To save it from the Gyres :( Adding a large piece of cycled real reef rock to the box and hopefully get the nem attached to it before introducing to the system this time...
