It’s hard to pin down Stray Kids’ genre because they’ve practically created their own since they’re self-produced. They’ve dabbled in hip-hop, rap, drill, ballads, pop, rock, metal, EDM … A ton of their B-sides without MVs are fire, but for songs with MVs, I’d highly recommend Side Effects, Thunderous, Venom, God’s Menu (a given), Any, Double Knot, All In and Easy. I’d also check out lyrics videos for their new songs Item and Hall of Fame (both bangers). Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids!

Sing, rap, dance all that but most importantly, the group self produced 99.9% of all their 230plus songs since they've debuted (1 song exception only).
When you say the production value is insane I am even more proud of Stray Kids(SKZ) because they made it themselves they have 3racha the producing unit of their group and they made 99% of their discography and some songs with the help of other members too and 1% is them working with other producers. SKZ has a diverse genre with it comes to their music, here are some of it that I recommend you watch/listen:

There have a lot of songs and I hope you can react to them again they are amazing and talented and can pretty much do anything cause rappers can sing and singers can rap as well.
Kpop stands for korean popular (pop) music but it doesnt literally mean pop. Kpop is more of an industry than an genre. All the artists under this umbrella are very diverse in genre & talents.
Stray kids are a great example. They are a self producing group. Their 3 members (Changbin, Han, & Bang Chan) aka 3racha are the main producers & writers (they have a great input into what they make). They just released their new album "5 star" & placed #1 in billboard 200. S-class is their main track on the album but all the songs are great & diverse as well. Even in kpop where mixing genres is common stray kids maintains a distinct sound. They are well known for their hip hop/rap/rock backround & abilities however their music has included an array of genres as well as ones that are uncommon such as psychedelic trance music. They are all very talented & i hope you guys give a chance to check them out again.

they have such a wide range that they cover, with this track coming off their album released this month. Easy, Side Effect, Case 143, Miroh, Gods Menu, Freeze, Venom, Mamas 2022 ver of Venom and Maniac is pretty good as its more of a hard rock version of those songs, as well as just being a crazy live stage, Circus, Backdoor, Chill, Hellavator. Should be a good mix of different sounds they do, though they dont stick to a specific 'sound/genre'
Kpop was around in the 90s and early 2000s, theyre the ones that are the Asian NSYNC and whatever other 90s boy groups and girl groups you can think of lol. Like S.E.S is straight up Korean TLC. Might not make the best reaction videos tho since kpop mvs from then dont have subs and usually arent in great quality. Theyre nowhere near as high level as this, crazy big kpop mvs like this have only been a thing the past 3-4 years really. Candy by the group H.O.T recently got remastered and uploaded with subtitles tho if you wanna check it out! A newer group from the same company made their own version of the song thats why the original got an update. If you do watch it you should watch the old one and then the new one back to back! It will really put into perspective how much kpop has grown and changed! Fair warning, the original version video is kinda cringey but that is entirely on purpose to match the lyrics.
Tbh the only reason you think theyre similar to Blackpink is because thats just the basics of kpop groups and theyre your only reference point lmao. Theyre really not similar but they are actually friends! Bang Chan, the leader of stray kids, is really close with Rosé and Lisa.
Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. They are amazing, especially when you think that they produce these songs themselves, unlike a lot of other Kpop groups. I recommend Thunderous, Venom, Maniac and Case 143 next (but the have over 160 song to their credit, so lots to choose from).
They’ve so many songs of various mixed genres but Gods Menu is probably a good next (though older) song to give you a bit more of their flavour, which, as the song implies, is very diverse. Self produced since day dot, there is something for everyone and every mood. Enjoy.

If you are interested in that kind of thing, they do have making-of films as well. And the dance practices.
Their first pre-debut song was Hellevator, their debut song was District 9. And while both those songs (and MVs) are really good, you can definitely see how much they have improved since then. Both in quality and confidence. Venom, Lonely Street, Give me you TMI, Maniac, Victory Song, Neverending Story, Hello Stranger, Slump, Circus, The Sound, Scars are some of my favourite with MVs. Any of the First Take versions of their songs are worth it (First Take is a Japanese channel. They were the first Korean group to perform there with SLUMP, and the first to perform a song in Korean with Mixtape: OH. I think they were also the first to perform twice in one day with Mixtape: OH and Scars)
The MAMA 2022 performance of Venom and Maniac was spectacular, especially if you have seen the 'normal' stage performance of these songs from the concert.

"Deep End" is a solo song by FELIX who has a low voice among SKZ members. It's really good)
Thunderous, God’s Menu, Maniac, Cheese, Double Knot, My Pace, Mirror… they have legit over one hundred self-written songs in the past 5 years. Most songs in Korean will have English subtitles, though their Japanese singles won’t.

I see that you react to Tom MacDonald and Linkin Park but I truly appreciate that you are starting to check out Korean music so I subscribed. I stopped listening to music after Linkin Park because I didn’t like where our music in the west was heading, but Kpop got me to listen to music again.
I’ll let Stays (name given to Stray Kids fans) guide you on which songs to listen to next from this group so I’ll just explain a bit the basics of Kpop.
Stray Kids (SKZ for short) is 4th generation which means they are from the youngest age groups, they are around 23 years old.
There’s approximately 5 years in age difference between each generation. You mentioned Blackpink, I don’t follow them but they are 3rd generation, so they are approximately 5 years older.
You said SKZ are the male version of Blackpink but there is a big difference, please someone correct me if I’m wrong but Blackpink has producers making the music for them while Stray Kids do everything themselves. Every song has a different style and are all so good it’s hard to say which is your favourite. Hope you listen to more of their music.
