Mind Your Language is a British Sitcom and Television Program. It is a comedy show set on English spoken language that premiered on ITV in 1977.
The show is set in an adult education college in London and focuses on the English as a Foreign Language class taught by Mr Jeremy Brown, portrayed by Barry Evans, who had to deal with a motley crew of foreign students.
Mind Your Language has been one of the greatest comedy and funny show in the history. A 1977 British sitcom featured on Television is still the most adored and loved show on languages. In India a show on same subject called "Zaban Sambhalke" has been made. Same as in the US as "What A Country!".

My mother who is Italian absolutely LOVED this programme. She could really identify with it. It's only the English 'political correctness' brigade that made this tv series get seen as racist and as making fun towards racial stereotypes. It's sad because it's such a great comedy. Much missed.

I'm half indian and half british, born in the UK to a British mum from Bradford and an Indian dad from Chennai, and every morning when our dad would wake us up to go to school, he would always play Mind your Language. It was a shock to me to realize that there were many white people who complained that this show was racist and made fun of people's identities because it laughed at the stereotypes of immigrants/non native English speakers.
I never saw it that way, and i still don't. My dad clearly doesn't, and other first generation immigrants don't. I really resent that we have second generation immigrants and white middle class people, both of whom have no real connection to the countries they say they are defending, trying to use offence by proxy to destroy good comedy for their own political egotrips. First generation immigrants laugh at this because they see a connection with what it was like to be an immigrant in the 1970s who couldn't speak english, and that just like the British, they had a bloody good sense of humor. Plus, they know what REAL racism is.
