Aside from that, even looking at the movements of the helmet when he hits the bumps on the track and saying it's G-force is another gem of the internet!
I honestly think most people don't really realise how fast Timo went on that lap. It's so fast, the human brain will be the limitation at one point. He said that maybe, if conditions are right and he could push all in, there would be a few seconds more to shave off those 5.19. There is an interview in german with Hoster JP Performance, where they show the original 919 Hybrid Le Mans version with it's limitations following reglements and rules, but the car was already insane back then. The evo went indeed no limitations, but with a limited build time span of 2 months only. Imagine if they would have had 2 years...
Yes it's insane and at limits of human abilities. Shure it was gran turismo sport VR but I spent better part of 2021 to set a 5:32:965 time. Gt sport unfortunately won't allow you to tune 919 leman spec into something close to evo. I have yet to try to beat my personal record because I honestly don't know if I can and if I did it would only be by a few seconds. I've read 1 article online I don't remember many details unfortunately but yes Timo did know he could go faster but if memory serves me right after 3 laps both Timo and porsche accepted the 5:19 as trying another lap would be to dangerous, and they had a short time window for track conditions with those 1 of a kind tires Michelin made for this lap.
I think anyone who remembers the 919's debut race at Silverstone in 2014 realised just how fast that thing was straight out of the box. It didn't quite have the housefly like cornering reflexes of Audi's R18, but the way that the 919 could be over 10 car lengths behind coming out of Luffield, then be over 10 car lengths ahead by the time they reached Stowe was jaw dropping. Against an R18 too! A car that, up until then, seemed unbeatable, from a team who had absolutely dominated endurance racing for the past 15 years or so and that R18 was blisteringly fast by anyone's measure. As soon as the Porsche got so much as a sniff of a straight though, it was gone. You could literally see it surge ahead in an explosion of torque with each gear shift. ruclips.net/video/clZOMYjaGt8/видео.html There's a couple of overhead shots towards the end of the clip from that race. It still blows me away today by just how fast that thing was right from the start of its racing life. You are driving American cars man... Thats way different to genuine German cars, believe me.
the amount of people lying they did this time in gt7 is hilarious
Nürnbergrng Nordscheife .... the green hell .. the most dangerous racetrack in the world.
You americans really like to be annoying.
Europe !!
Should have titled this as "AMERICAN WANKS TO THE FASTEST LAP RECORD AT THE NURBURGRING BY PORCHE 919 HYBRID EVO!" would have got more views m8.. YOU BLEW IT!
and it is only a 2 liter 4 banger
Americans react to everything becose...we dont know but they do this.
300 kph is 186mph
368 Km/h = 229 mp/h
Unfassbar was der Timo für Eier hat 😂 , 1 verfickter Fehler und tot

Aah. Yes.. 1160.. that is almost exactly half of a safe boring swedish hybrid hatchback...
Why do you gotta pause the video on the best moments. especially in the straight way
When he stopped video and made steering moves only by one hand, i was: 🤦♂️
At first he said he was a car enthusiast… He may be true that he likes nice cars, but from then on it was a collection of embarrassing moments… mistaking potholes for G-force, driving a prototype racing with one hand and semi-reclining as if it were a forklift, and many others. What I think made all the enthusiast in the rest of the world cry was when, during a lap like that, he got excited for the straight.
Nürburgring is state of the art for fast cars. There is no comparison all over the world. Every major car manufacturer comes here to test it's performance.
f1 go around a corner 300 kph
KMH not MPH
Bro has no idea what he‘s talking about or looking at ahahaha
Mate, you have no clue what this is about, lol. This thing is more capable than a "normal" F1 car... all restrictions thrown out the window!!!
Excited about the most boring bit on the track 🫠 funny….
Just German Engeneering, nothing Special….for a German.

lets be honest. you are much worse in gran tourismo.
For everyone, an modern f1 car could lap the circuit in 4:45 min. I know its a shame that the cameras doesnt really catch the Speed of f1 cars. But its true. I just laugh when somebody says f1 cars are slow because in the tv you doesnt see the speed but the times speak for it self so im happy if i see a lap from that hypercar and everyone goes deamn hes quick because i know f1 cars are 30 secounds faster at least haha
So is this not the lap record or has no f1 car tried to go for the record?
@@RareSoulTV its the lap record, but f1 doesnt race at the nordschleife since 1976 because the track wasnt save enough and for the rules we have today it would be also to long. We had a couple show runs but thats was just cruising around. But the laptime in the sim from was a 4:46. And there the times from the sim nearly the same on the actual tracks are is the f1 car faster. In spa was this hypercar and lewis in the f1 mercedes was faster a year after the hypercar was there. Spa was smaller so the gap wasnt 20 secounds but that just shows that the f1 car is faster. And 100% the fastest cars we have on this planet
Yeah but we all know those bumps would destroy the cars. Maybe RB will fuck with one of their old cars and see how fast they can go since they love using their V8's for show now.
@@RareSoulTV the Nordschleife is a mixture of rollercoaster and catapult, you need soo much downforce to don´t fly into the trees, a F1 is unable to generate it with its small underbody..
F1 cars are downforce wonders but they have their limits. You need surface to generate enough downforce ti reach this time ,the 919 hybrid evo was created für this.
I love the track. It´s a shame I am not there right now for watching the 24 hours race.
for everyone, this is fantasy, because F1 could not drive there so...
919 Eva is still faster, only because it can drive there in real life
also beat F1 at SPA so, maybe your SIM is just a SIM
welcome to europe
