I'm in my 5th month of IF and last 3 months doing OMAD. Two hours before meal I exercise doing weights, push ups, abs, legs, etc. My level of energy is amazing. I never thought it could be that way. It's definitely a life change. Thanks for this great information.

OMAD and exercise is giving extremely quick results, but you need to know that your body and mind can handle it. If you already fasting for a couple of months, recommend to do OMAD first for at least a week and then build up your exercise routine.

I am moslem and do dry fasting annualy on Ramadhan and 2 days on every week for my religion routine. I used to do 14 - 15 hours Intermittent Fasting on my daily basis. Brave to do and started 25 hours Fasting after heard ur lesson. And that was so so fantastic for my feelings, body also other positive effects.

Congratulations on your accomplishment! During a longer fast, like 36 hours, it's generally recommended to listen to your body. Some people feel energized and choose light exercise like walking, while others prefer rest. It's essential to ensure you're not pushing yourself too hard and to stay hydrated. Always consult with a healthcare professional about your specific situation.

And- if we want to stay in autophagy we need to stay below 20g of protein, 50 g of carb and 60% fat - so is that enough protein to rebuild muscle and enough carbs to replenish glycogen stores for endurance sports? Thanks!

Both of them I do 30 min then I break my fast with broth then wait 30m, probiotics (Sauerkraut, Kimchi and avocado). wait 30m . Then steam vegetable. wait 30m. Last protein. I do it with all my fast. Should I change only in my workout break my fast with protein? And then broth, probiotics, steam vegetables?

To optimize both fat loss and muscle building while incorporating intermittent fasting and early morning workouts, you can either extend your fasting window and have a later breakfast or consume a post-workout meal that includes protein and carbohydrates to support muscle recovery. Experiment and listen to your body to find the approach that works best for you.

It's important to stay hydrated during fasting to support your body's functions. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the fasting period to stay well-hydrated. If you're experiencing headaches, it could be related to dehydration or other factors. If the issue persists, consider adjusting your electrolyte intake or consulting a healthcare professional for personalized guidance.

So I break my fast around 11 am or noon, depending on the day, and have been doing just fine. Doesn't cause too much stress at all on my body. There is good cholesterol (which goes up on a high fat diet) and 'bad' cholesterol and their ratio is more important. In any case Cholesterol is a poor marker for heart disease: half of all heart attacks occur in people with normal cholesterol, and over 60s with high LDL cholesterol live longer! In addition a ketogenic Diet reduces triglycerides, blood pressure, fatty liver, blood glucose, joint inflammation, body weight, increases HDL and reverses diabetes: all of which reduces risk of heart disease.

How do you define extreme exercising? E.g. doing a 1,5 hour resistance training (every exercise going to failure with heavy weights), followed by 20 minutes HIIT (30 seconds full out on treadmill, 90 seconds easy going, repeat this 8 times), would this considered to be an extreme exercise?

Started IF about two months ago. What I love:
    No more seasonal allergies
    Energy and brain function
    Less feeling overwhelmed with life
    Naturally wake up earlier
After adding in Dr Mindy's advice to use along my menstrual cycle:
    Mind blown!
Instead of fighting through the old desire of just pushing through around day 19-20, I started being kind to myself and feeding to help produce progesterone...
    Game. Changer !
Now my body set weight is slowly lowering...rather than super high swings up and down I'm able to listen to my miraculous body and act accordingly. Thank you Dr Mindy!!!💕

What if we're mid-fast and not supposed to eat, say 1 PM, but we work out at 8 am? Is it bad to not have protein immediately** following a workout or can we afford to wait till 1:30? I've been fasting while exercising (usually 10k and weightlifting, alternating days) but wait hours before I can eat. Is that bad? I'm also following your hormone cycle

I was prepared to exercise with my gym clothes and all, but after watching this video, I guess I'll just try to push it up to 72h if my mood/body allows and let my body do the healing process on it's own. Totally confident it will happen. Meditation will be the answer for today. Thank you, Dr Mindy for your wisdom.

If I'm not hungry after my workout do I still need to eat protein to build muscle or can I keep fasting for longer benefits?
