As a case this it is pretty good. Magnet holds closed and isn’t bulky. Keyboard commands are wonky for common used characters. Others are better. Keyboard turns off within 15 minutes. Most critical, the magnet holding the pad is crap. It does not hold secure and the iPad slide when the slightest bump on the plan happens. Sending mine back.
Thanks! I was looking for a good keyboard case for the Mini. I’m considering switching my 12.9 M2 (PT courses) for portability & there’s no Mac OS update coming. Too bad there’s no Magic Keyboard 😀
@@AteTreeWon i got it! It’s perfect for light office work. The bluetooth works great there is no double keystroke problem. The key travel is comparable to a macbook, it’s just a bit on the small size. Really love my ipad mini, the 6th gen is a great upgrade from my 4th gen. The only thing that’s bugging me is the touch ID button. It’s significantly worse than my 4th gen ipad mini. The old one works like 99/100 times, while this new one only work like 4/10. Already tried to register the same fingerprint multiple times but it’s still not that accurate. I had to use a 4 number passcode instead of 6 because i’m using the passcode so much to unlock this thing.
Unfortunately that proprietary charging cable makes this a hard no-go for me. Otherwise seems like attractive implementation, are you aware of any similar producct that uses USB-C charging? Thank you!
Too bad they didn't make it a USB C vs the proprietary charger. If you lose it or it becomes defective, you're out of business. Plus something else to have to carry and keep track of. It looks like a very nice case otherwise.
Yes I agree! The standby battery life is pretty good so I usually just leave it at home and charge it here but yes. I agree. Proprietary chargers are the worst.
I’m an actual typist. My interest in watching this demonstration was to SEE you TYPE on it (with more than 2 fingers) otherwise what’s the point of buying a small keyboard if it’s not big enough to type on using all my fingers. If that is the case, I can do my thumb typing on a phone and use other devices for ACTUAL typing. Maybe you could address this please?
The manufacturer is not familiar with the reading mode. It insists that it is normal even if it is not in reading mode. What's funnier is that even if you show this video and explain it, it's not our product.
2 months later - how has your experience with this been since then? Can you actually turn off the keyboard? I've read elsewhere that it will actually never turn off and thus your battery is pretty limited to about a week(?)
@@AteTreeWon Lucky you!! I may go ahead and try it. I would be really happy if it worked for me. I've just had really bad luck so far trying to find a good one
you started good, but when it came to 2.01 keep repeating "I don't know" meant you've lost your audience, so What do you know??? Your main purpose is to show the pros and cons, but by keep saying I don't know!!!! meant you haven't done your leg works...

Thanks man! Solidified my choice in purchasing!

Agree a Magic Keyboard would be amazing for the mini. But this keyboard is amazing for the mini. I highly recommend it
Thank you for this video! Do you know how we can get the keyboard charger if we lose it?
Honestly I’m not sure. I usually just keep it plugged into a wall and never move it. Battery life is very good and doesn’t need to be charged often.
I know I’m a little late but I have this in my cart and about to buy it, this really helped me to see how legit it is. Thank bro 👍
Glad I could help! I love mine!
This is perfect for me. So gonna get this
It’s great!

You should do an update video, after having used the keyboard for a while--please. ; )
This video is coming very soon!

Yes I agree. The proprietary cable really does suck!
how do you flip that case in order to scribble w apple pencil

This would be so good, with a trackpad👌👌
Totally! But with the space the keyboard is actually perfect
I have one with a trackpad and it eats at the keyboard space and gets in the way
@@solitairemorales4392 I also do and I like it. But I would prefer the keyboard shown in the video
Logitech sells a really small mouse that is great for the iPad 6

Lovely video
Thanks 🤗
Good video mate
Thanks so much!
Thanks
Doesn’t it bother you that it lacks a track pad?

My keyboard turns off and battery life so far has been pretty good.
that cable is too much for me. There are other ones usb c. Sure they're a little thicker, but it is minimal. With that said it is a hard pass
How do u write with that case?
Do you mean type? It’s actually pretty comfy as long as you don’t have incredibly large hands.
I just checked the reviews on this and they are very bad.
That’s shocking… I haven’t had a single bad experience with my keyboard.
