This movie was amazing.
The man who made the film in 70s
I saw it when it was originally released. Still one of the very best as far as I am concerned.
To me, the most terrifying aspect of this clip is how little airports have changed in almost 40 years. Detroit Metropolitan (DTW) has those exact same lounge seats everywhere.
I noticed that too.
I WONDER WHY
AMERICA IS A BROKE COUNTRY
AND STILL MORONS BRING ON KNIVES AND GUNS
EUROPE HAS BETTER AIRPORTS
SPAIN IS NICE
SINGAPORE TOO

That’s a great stunt by William Petersen to jump up on the rail and keep running.
On the dvd commentary director mentions that he wanted this but airport security said no way..change it. He agreed..but then did it anyway 😂
Sad to hear of the death of William Friedkin who directed the film and so many other greats.
TO LIVE AND MOVE OUT OF LA
SHOULD BE A SEQUEL HOLLYWOOD SHOULD DO IN 2024
@@ekop1778 Is LA. that bad. :)
Certainly adding this one to my watchlist. 🍿
They recently released it in 4K, definitely worth picking up
"Manhunter" is another good one if you like William Peterson.
The first place he checks is the women’s restroom because that is such a criminal move.
1:32 Airport security warned the production crew about running down the middle of the escalator saying it was going to get damaged.
The production crew said they would comply and not do it.
Action / William Petersen jumps up and runs down the middle with security not being able to stop him.
One take is all we could get away with... Many times that's how Billy F. would roll, one chance is all you'd get...
😎of course he did, Cody would be gone before you could,...pull,..aim and fire🙂❤
Peterson was on top of his game here, this scene and the car chase alone make this a classic.
2 years ago, I watch To Live and Die In LA on TCM
They will never have on TMC.
Thank you for posting .
Awesomeness
There's an actual reason that they taught us during security officer training when doing bathroom checks to look at the floor of empty stall to make sure someone isn't hiding in it. Basically you're watching for a shadow of somebody standing on the toilet try not to move Very easy way to catch what we called office creepers which are people who will try to hide in the Stalls after a office building is closed. In order to break into office space areas and go through desk of employees., looking for money and valuables and this movie reminds me about what our instructors were trying to show us. And I can tell you the technique actually works because we caught more than one office Thief during my working career trying to pull this stunt
Ah, the litmus configuration!
Litmus configg urr ation
The most terrifying aspect of this movie is that there are no good guys.
'TO LIVE AND MOVE OUT OF LA'
STARTS THIS XMAS AT A THEATRE NEAR YOU
@@ekop1778 Sounds like a long overdue hit.
NEXT to Bullet, best car chase sequence in film. GTA 5 REALISM is a guarantee.
Overall... 9.2 out of 10.
A comedic moment.
