I don't think he should have gone for Gaetjhe tbh. People forget that only insane grapplers have beaten Justin since he changed his style and got more defensive. It should be an awesome fight for us, but not so great for Fiziev's career, I think
@@bradbradford8576 Not sure I agree. He got out struck by Dustin and even Eddie. Yes he changed his style since then by being more patient but realistically speaking his biggest weapons are his kicks and if Olivera can counter against that Fiziev will most definitely. He can catch Fiziev but to out strike him is a very tall order.
I’d say he’s one of the only ones that maintain a traditional Muay Thai striking style, Shevchenko too

Man that fight vs Brad was hard to watch, especially knowing they are homies and formerly trained together. Must have been hard to Fiziev to do him like that. Agreed on all fronts though, I am so excited to see Fiziev at the top of the division. Let's see what happens with Gaethje.

I think Fiziev has potential to take the top of his division. He is talented.
Finally someone appreciates the beautiful striking prowess of Fiziev. The technique was a 10 you nailed it. Shouldn’t have changed to a 9.
He is top 3 in takedown defense % in the UFC. So that takedown shouldn’t matter to be honest when RDA failed so many times before in that 5 round fight. Gaethje hasn’t truly tried to shoot for a takedown in 27 fights. He uses his wrestling for strictly defense. He is a brawler and will be concussed by Rafael.

You nailed it! Getting one takedown out of 8 or 10 tries is pretty damn impressive especially coming from RDA who is known to maul fighters wirh his wrestling and grappling
Seems like a bad matchup for Gaethje since, like you said, he doesn't use his wrestling offensively. I like Fiziev too in this fight.

Nah, the past couple months Henry has gone crazy with content, it’s been GREAT breakdowns. He’s recognized as one of the GOATs and there’s a reason why. I love how Rafael goes from the bottom to the top. Which is very rare in the league.
If I was a fighter and he did a breakdown in me to tell me how to win or improve and beat someone, I’m taking it.

wouldn't really be too surprised if Fiziev beats the likes of Poirier, Dariush or even Oliveira, I think he could beat Makhachev too but he has to be completely perfect to do so.
