I love how in the original chase sequence it created tension on how Peppino is about to be devoured by his fake doppelgänger, while here it’s like Ol Peppino looks like he is trying to win a marathon.
I feel like if it WAS noisette, we'd see the top of the hat more than the sides. If you look closely at the shape, it's more wide than tall - just like the Noise's hat.
The only things that I think could make this even better: 1. You playing as the Noise or other character 2. Pizza Time playing instead of Pizza Time Never Ends 3. The giant Peppino not having that yellow flashy effect during the escape
Slightly more powerful Peppino Clone The second phase is creepy in its own right. (Well, not creepy but unsettling) It’s sorta like the room is sentient. Pretty neat.
I wonder if a playable Noise would change the third boss fight to be a Fake Noise, The Doise, Noisette, Pizzelle, etc. and the fourth boss would just be Peppino...

Wouldn't count on the fake noise part. You will need to make a new portrait for the versus screen, new animations (which are different from peppinos if it uses the future noises moveset), a new background (Bruno pizza) and if they really want to make it work they would have to change wars clones and the labs background

IMO Peppino Boss should use the Mach 3 animation during the fourth attack and use the Firemouth transformation for the fifth attack instead of Knight. Still a great concept, though!
they should have replaced the boss with the old ver of peppino it would be like a peppino vs Sage 2018 ver peppino (edit: Idk if the old ver has sprites tho)

The sprite work is actually insane, I've never seen that hurt sprite for Peppino

The Firemouth transformation was literally intended to be able to shoot fireballs so I thought it'd work well as a projectile.
When peppinos got cloned and got the portal mod:
