Hi Stan, are you familiar with mango flowers from the plant itself? I brought a mango fruit from the store & planted the seed in summer 2017, now it's spring here & has started flowering for the first time, I looked at all the google images & diagrams of a mango flower/ovary & noticed all had a single ovary/to-be-fruit in the flower, I wanted to know if it's common for a mango flower to have 2 ovaries in the 1 flower like my seedling grown mango does? You can view it in this photo if you look closely enough: plant.daleysfruit.com.au/l/mango-flower-heads-17271.jpeg
@@StanTheObserver-lo8rx Nope just temperate climate some say subtropical (Köppen Cfa), I would say in between Temperate & Subtropical, Sydney Australia. Being more specific its been a year and half - not 2 years yet, I planted the seed in Summer 2017(maybe Nov/Dec) & it's flowering now which is the beginning of Spring here. I think it must be my energy & connection with the plant I also make prayer to God almighty when I plant most of the time (when I don't forget to) to give good health & nutrition. I had a chestnut flower from seed after 6 months I grew it the same time I planted this Mango, sadly the chestnut burnt to the ground in summer.
@@StanTheObserver-lo8rx btw I have 3 Mango trees planted the same time & flowering right now, 2 are from 1 seed the one with 2 ovaries in one flower & 1 is from a different seed all together. I had a similar thing happen with my Jabuticaba where my grafted jabuticaba 1 in pot & 1 in ground flowered then my seedling jabuticaba also flowered at 5 years seedling the seedling has given abundance of fruit since it flowered a few years ago, it fruits twice a year now since, same as the grafted one in ground.
