I really liked this, rules of blocking and overtaking is something I really enjoy debating on and learning about at the minute, especially when an unusual situation is thrown up. This race seemed to have an example of most defending rules in one race. Really siked about Sunday getting close now, There's gonna be some drama with Nic and Lewis this year, got a strange feeling about Alonso too, Ron Denis reunited with Honda, we may be in for a shock. Got my cheap f1 app so I can live track qualifying tomorrow aft!
+ChrisCaaa Thanks. Yes, it showed quite a range of defensive rules. An important one I forgot to mention though was that you can only use one block per straight IE. Make one defensive move and stick to that side. Other than that, I covered most of what anyone should need to know. As for the F1, I can't wait! I think Nico might step up his game this year but we will of course have to see if it's good enough for the seemingly invincible Hamilton.
A stunning performance; the fact that you used blocking to come in first despite the other driver being faster, and without any bad crashes, shows skill and focus.
Their were clips from the AOR V8 Supercars. So when you mentioned you've learnt a lot from this series. This just shows how much you've learnt from the drivers.
I find this highlights alot of the main points that people don't realize about defending ; i especially like the what you say at 5:19 as this is something I feel is very important and a thing many people do not know. Sadly as good as this is; there is no defense against that one driver who charges full speed into a corner and slams your rear end to the moon.
Great video as are all of them whether instructional or gameplay. As a player who is just trying to be competitive online and a million miles away from actually winning a race I appreciate the tips.
Great video although, I do agree with what you said at the end about normal hoppers and the idiots that populate them. They will usually go straight into the back of you and ram you off the track if you attempt any defensive manoeuvres.
this will be huge for myself, excellent video ur tips and trix go along way,im always tryin to search for new ways to get faster, private leagues them guys r fast as u know, this will be huge man
+Super GT this was huge man,i do career mode still as well on unbeatable, and struggle with em at this track...3 sec victory last night and usually I'm p3,p2,\m/ thanks again mate cheers 👍👍👊
I found my niche at S class racing. GT cars I found had too many tanners, sometimes even more so than in regular online races sadly. It's sad that people have nothing better to do than just not brake on first corners or any on some of those races.
What's up GT, thanks for all your vids they're great. I honestly would never defend or block because 95% of the racers will never honor that block anyway lol at least never in the lobby hoppers. It'd have to be a Pvt. Lobby with trusted friends/racers lol
Nice video! I'm definitely using this, I had problems with this league because of the sim damage... I was being smashed all the time but it was fun when I seen you joined the lobby👍
Hello Super GT, tips and advice yes please. I'm always 4 to 5 seconds slower than other people using my own tune or other peoples tune. would you say I need more practice or should I be using speed builds. I know there are alot of answers for this question :/
Very informative GT. I always expect this kind of quality from you. Now, what are your opinions on people getting week bans from idiots reporting them for retaliating against hitting and or winning? Three of my mates were banned for retaliating against and rammer. The rammer reported them and only my friends got banned.
I find its best just to keep your cool with them snd report them yourself. your revenge being them getting banned and maybe it will stop them doing it in future
+The Touge Guy It's annoying to be banned for retaliation but I would recommend not retaliating where possible as you run the risk of getting banned. Annoying I know, but that's the way it is.
Hi Super! So I tried out the Pinnacle League and honestly, it was very enjoyable to do it. I was blown away by the handling of these Lambos. It was like they were rooted to the ground and even throttling while turning would keep the car from loosening at the back. I think a lot of it though must be the aerodynamics as well. What surprised me was how I was able to compete with guys that had ranked up so highly already and I was only level 10 like. You may have met this guy as well. Sophie Demoness is his name. He was like level 210 and somehow he thought the league was about drifting not racing because his steering was bloody atrocious. But unfortunately, a few races in, I saw a lot of cheating going on. I think the level of non-drivers on both the multiplayer and the leagues is the same. Also, when did you record this video? Foxy was in it and he told me he's no longer with LSR, now HCR.
+FoxyDevastation I was also wondering what these LSR and HCR groups are. Are they like clans or online professional racing teams? They almost sound like they make great contributors of the Last Crusade :)
Very nice video. I raced with you on the lamborghini leagues, you're really fast, your lap time was always one second or more faster than mine. I'm just struggling with the gear changes and always damaging my engine. I'm Fat RedJohn BTW. (I'm glad you didn't record my accidents lol)
Been watching loads of your videos lately Super and I was wondering what view do you use when you're actually racing? Personally in F6 I use the bumper cam but when I'm on PCARS it's the in car or helmet view because its very authentic. For some reason the incar view on this game (for me atleast) feels very disconnected from what's actually happening, it's very difficult to explain what I mean but it just doesn't work for me.
Yup, I've always maintained that the controller is easier and faster in Forza. I think the generel belief is that the wheel is always faster but I don't think it is in Forza.
Nice, I've never used a sim set up with force feedback. But I'll be throwing one together; should be fun. Im not great with the controller. I can see the advantages tho.
+Super GT No, I think officially you were the one with the quickest lap time. You are one hell of a driver and you dictated the race from the first lap. I truly wish I had the overall driving skill that you and the best drivers in the game have. It is a true pleasure to watch your videos, they're honestly just as good, if not better than watching the real thing. Take care Super GT, maybe one day I will get in one of your lobbies.
Hey, much appreciated!! Always nice to hear support like this! As for who was quickest, I think had the guy in 2nd got past, he would have set a quicker lap but of course he was unable to set a quick lap because I was blocking him throughout!
True, true, but the numbers do not lie. Sure he may have been quicker if you gave him the chance, but just like real life if he doesn't have the skills to pass, then he's only as fast as you let him be (unless he's an absolute twat and just wrecks you like most people on Forza).
I thought it was fine, as did the person I was racing against. If you're talking about the slight tap of the brakes on corner exit, then yes, that does look dodgy but I can tell you it wasn't really intentional to brake check him there, more to keep the car under control.
Super GT ah okay fine totally understood... I was a bit frustrated, because I left a DiRT 3 lobby match, where a guy in rallycross was braking in a corner where he's not supposed to, piling the whole grill up, and he was cutting me off too. So after that I looked up some videos about defending, and I was trying to confirm my accusations about the guy. Thanks for answering man, keep up the good work!
+Car Guy Step 1: Drive in chase view. To be serious though, I don't drive cockpit view exactly because I cannot see my surroundings. Therefore I cannot give advice on it.
+Super GT I got to be honest, no matter what car, if i drive in 3rd person i just cannot for the life of me control the car out of the corner (Acceleration) or turn in well. i just feel a wall of oversteer and well it sucks. so i drive in First person. anyhow, is it good to rely on rear view mirrors?
+sillymoons oo If there is a significant difference in speed thats the courteous thing to do. If your lap times are close (within a second or so) you should try driving defensively.
+sillymoons oo It really depends on the situation and who you are racing against. This race was in a pinnacle league lobby with very good drivers so it's more acceptable to block and make a proper race out of it. In any normal hopper with less experienced players, it can be an advantage to let faster drivers past. However, I am here to win this race and did so effectively.
This guy deserves way more subs! He actually knows how to play the game.
+MMgamer03 Cheers!
Great vid! Attacking guide next?

Top video very clear for those scrubs in sessions, that aussie was right up your clacker.
+Gumber cules Thanks, he was very close all race.
A stunning performance; the fact that you used blocking to come in first despite the other driver being faster, and without any bad crashes, shows skill and focus.
+4ven8 Thank you =)

:)
Their were clips from the AOR V8 Supercars. So when you mentioned you've learnt a lot from this series. This just shows how much you've learnt from the drivers.
Like how he did a defensive driving vid, while driving a a car with a Norton livery. Very fitting
Never thought of it like that but yeah it's fits!
I find this highlights alot of the main points that people don't realize about defending ; i especially like the what you say at 5:19 as this is something I feel is very important and a thing many people do not know. Sadly as good as this is; there is no defense against that one driver who charges full speed into a corner and slams your rear end to the moon.
You can possibly dodge them though.
Great video as are all of them whether instructional or gameplay. As a player who is just trying to be competitive online and a million miles away from actually winning a race I appreciate the tips.
+Itchy sporcle Good to hear, hope you can use some of these tips to better your results!
Great video although, I do agree with what you said at the end about normal hoppers and the idiots that populate them. They will usually go straight into the back of you and ram you off the track if you attempt any defensive manoeuvres.
+Cloud Green Yup, this kind of blocking isn't worth doing most of the time.
***NOTICE*** THIS WILL ONLY WORK IN LEAGUES THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO DRIVE IN, YOU MAY GET SHUNTED OFF THE TRAK WHILE DOING THIS.
+Los Music Yes, this is true as explained towards the end of the video.
this will be huge for myself, excellent video ur tips and trix go along way,im always tryin to search for new ways to get faster, private leagues them guys r fast as u know, this will be huge man

what a amazing lamborghni livery. I love that one

+GT Conspiracy Thanks, yes good racing with you!
Super GT Thanks man! You are very clean and most importantly fast!
Let me know if you need more advice!
Awesome driving!

This race was a few days before the first Trofeo vid was uploaded lol but yea Rank doesn't mean anything in Forza really lol
+FoxyDevastation I was also wondering what these LSR and HCR groups are. Are they like clans or online professional racing teams? They almost sound like they make great contributors of the Last Crusade :)
Basically these are just abbreviated team names the the team members have. LSR = Limitless Speed Racing, HCR = Happy Cat Racing etc..
You must have been *feline* very good about yourself when you joined them, amirite? ;-)
love the video! Thanks for the tips!
+Priam Mukundan No worries!
+Super GT These tips are definitely helping. Thanks again!
Great video man keep it up ;) I just joined leagues and it's awesome. I'm mostly in the top 5 or top 3 it's great that's for your videos man #TeamGT
Very nice video. I raced with you on the lamborghini leagues, you're really fast, your lap time was always one second or more faster than mine. I'm just struggling with the gear changes and always damaging my engine. I'm Fat RedJohn BTW. (I'm glad you didn't record my accidents lol)
Yes, you were in a party with me.... You were planning to take people out.. DIRTY!!! JK😂
I think I saw that Gamertag in the league at some point lol, I'm LSR Foxy (Now HCR Foxy though) that was in 4th this race xD
Fat RedJohn? thats really creative
+FoxyDevastation I remember you Foxy👍.You were very clean unlike some and really fast👍
+FoxyDevastation I think I saw. At least I saw LSR guys at least. Fucking LSR Wurst Mann that was wining every race.
Been watching loads of your videos lately Super and I was wondering what view do you use when you're actually racing?

What you see in the video is me 'actually racing' and therefore the view that I use.
Idk why but when you slow down the footage in the video it reminds me of initial D
great vid btw
On turn 4 of Laguna Seca are you purposefully staying wide and avoiding the apex, is it faster?
+connaire141 Don't do it on purpose but you don't lose a lot of time by missing that apex.
BTW how do you screen record your Xbox and audio record? Thx!
+Cargamer Elgato HD60.
Thank you for letting me race with u on forza 6 (AfootSea)
+Riley Davidson No worries!
Awesome B)
Are you using a wheel? If not, wtf, well done. Lol If so, which one?
Controller.
When you race do you only race in leagues or do you race in multiplayer hoppers
+chris mackin Both.
+Super GT No, I think officially you were the one with the quickest lap time. You are one hell of a driver and you dictated the race from the first lap. +Saeid Jahromi THanks!
Could you tell me how you find lobbies without complete idiots driving. It's just a pain in the butt when the dive bomb 24/7.
move up the ranks in leagues.
5:50 was an absolute dickmove in my opinion. And also, there's a really fine line between the definitions of blocking and defending.
I thought it was fine, as did the person I was racing against. If you're talking about the slight tap of the brakes on corner exit, then yes, that does look dodgy but I can tell you it wasn't really intentional to brake check him there, more to keep the car under control.

GP predictor this year?
How to drive in cockpit view and see your surroundings for not so good players next?
+Car Guy Step 1: Drive in chase view. To be serious though, I don't drive cockpit view exactly because I cannot see my surroundings. Therefore I cannot give advice on it.
+Super GT I got to be honest, no matter what car, if i drive in 3rd person i just cannot for the life of me control the car out of the corner (Acceleration) or turn in well. i just feel a wall of oversteer and well it sucks. so i drive in First person. anyhow, is it good to rely on rear view mirrors?
Sebastian Alsina Exactly. 3rd person view is too far away from the center of gravity and center of turning so it is impossible
how do u turn a corner correctly at speed 100% of the time?
+Jack Foy BCOS I IZ MLG
+Super GT OOOOHO 360 NO BRAKE AOUASIDYAS
Late apex and knowing how stable the car is
I'm confused I thought it was racing etiquette to let someone pass if they're faster?
+sillymoons oo If there is a significant difference in speed thats the courteous thing to do. If your lap times are close (within a second or so) you should try driving defensively.

Do you teach drivers ed? Can you be my instructor?
Not really on a one to one basis but if you have anything specific you need an answer for, I can answer now if you like?
You're the guy who likes 1988-1995 Sylvias and 240s right?
+Mitch Watson Not that I recall!
can I race with you
can I gave with you
I'm going to throw this random whistle at you just because I can.
+Jay “Double Time” Rickers please don't m8
Super GT Seriously, what was that?
Honestly no idea where it came from lol
Super GT Two things that can't be explained. String theory and that random whistle at 0:11 of Super GT's video.
