This is amazing. I just found your channel and I'm in love with your camera work and storytelling! Wonderful job! I'd love to see what you could do with The Isle or Path of Titans gameplay (personally, I feel PoT fits the WWD feel better), with others playing out the script. If you ever consider doing something like that, I would definitely sign up!
This was so simple yet so elegant and peaceful, the dinosaurs are just a part of this piece, not the key feature but just a part, this makes the music and the general atmosphere more intense, I really like it ! It almost felt like watching animals in a garden or in the wild, no screaming or fighting, just animals in an ecosystem bigger than themselves. I knew this was going to be good, well done !

Ah, I get it, so this is sight seeing dinosaurs in different areas, giving you the opportunity to maybe showcase dinosaurs that aren't in your main series. 1. I love the music, and 2. I love the fact that you can slow down on the channel, having a mix of small and large videos.
We should thank Jurassic World Evolution 2 exists because if it didn't, this masterpiece probably wouldn't be possible.
I love how you guys went for something more like an ambient here. The artistic visuals were lovely as well with the red lighting in contract with the snow-like bodies of the cryolophosaurus, and how the coelophysids blend into it as if a part of the scenery itself. This is the stuff I want to see in more paleo media (fanmade or official), dinosaurs that behave more realistically yet embrace an artistic side to it as well. Great work you guys, you create such amazing videos!
That shot with the cryolophosaurus staring at the Coelophysid was pure art, i thought this would be another narrated documentary but it seems you went for a different approach

Dinosaurs without the human words constantly surrounding, classifying, explaining and anthropomorphisising them. No sudden charge tossed in for drama. It's an extremely different experience.

Dude, this is so awsome! I remember watching Walking with Dinosaurs when i was a kid. Every time after school i was watching it on TV non stop. Nostalgia is freaking burning inside of me after watching this! My favorite episode of original documentary was with T-Rex, and behind the scenes for me was awsome to watch too. Those were amazing times.

It's nice and all, but the AI in these games are so scripted and limited to only basic stuff, there is no way one can immerse when you see that the AI doesn't even care it's sleeping out in the open while predators are roaming next to them, also the lack of contact between them, the lack of hearing and listening to noises, sniffing their scent, hunting and stalking, it's all missing in both of these games.
And btw I played both and tested all of the dinos and ''encounters'' it's just very scripted which is a big turn off, yeah you can say they look good, graphics wise, but that's about it, a bit of animations here and there and yea, rest is script based and nothing is random and immersive.
I agree about the ai limitations, which I try to compensate with editing, but for instance, It sleeping next to the small roaming predators isn't unrealistic, it's just holding its ground without wanting to enter in a confrontation
@@PastEons I would say that your video editing skills are REALISTIC, you got huge talent to capture important moments and show them to your audience.
@@PastEons I was jung critiquing the game itself by seeing that it's just too limiting like you said, also not to mention how many other ridiculous time-consuming mini-games they added with the crew and fuel management.
