It makes sense that they would have lyrics with them - the lyrics are never strictly in their native language (or in it at all, poor China line) and don't match up with the English guide tracks, plus it's good to have a reference jic. Some of them might also have a phonetic version they've written out since even Johnny, easily the most fluent non-native speaker in NCT, thinks Hangul is hard to read.
Lol they got confused this Chenle and Haechan’s parts Chenle went first and Haechan went last so all the parts that they thought were Haechan before he came was actually Chenle! Just wanted to clear that up if anyone was confused :)

If you get your head out of the clouds and watch the performance you'll realize chenle isn't singing the high notes, he's screaming them. So how can the sound quality be the same? you guys are so quick to dismiss their work the second they're gone

They don't keep the sheet just for the lyrics, as they go on, they write down the intonations and connotations of each word and frase. If you watch the uncut for Wendy's When This Rain Stops and Like Water, you can see her writing a lot and she even shows the sheet at the end. PS.: english is not my first language...just in case it's bad kkkkk

Since most of the demos are original in English they don’t really know the lyrics until they get them and they usually get the lyrics a day beforehand This is normal for kpop groups who’ve been going on for a few years to the point where they aren’t rookies anymore
