Hey Skyler, looks like a great product. Much of the video seems to focus towards the rear connection. Anything special about the from connection, especially when there are transmission skid and engine plates installed already?

There's really nothing special about the front mounting point, it mounts on the front outside hole for the plastic skid tray. You may need to remove or drop the rear of our transmission skid plate to gain access to remove the plastic tray but that is it.

@@rallitek_official Skyler, finally getting ready to install the ones I bought from RalliTek!! Quick question, in addition to trimming the bottom panels for the backspan brackets, do I also need to trim the turndown on the bottom skirt at the pinch weld? (Especially near the top plate connect points?). Didn't see that detail in the video or the written instructions... it seems that those panels also have to be removed and put back in... Can you confirm? Thx!

@@chrisnesbit6823 You will not need to trim the plastic near the pinch weld. You can get the plastic up above the screw heads with some easy prying.

would you guys worry about using any kind of thread lock to prevent bolts from rattling loose? is there a torque spec for these that removes that worry?

A blue Loctite is perfect case use. Depending on the bolts and location can vary, see our install instructions on our site. rallitek.com/pages/installation-instructions-main

For a 2019 crosstrek, does it sit snug towards the front punch weld ? There are 2 factory screws there that prevent it from sitting snug against the pinch weld. This causes the step part to be closer to the car and not even length away as the back . Any suggestions or is that how it's supposed to be ?

I wonder if sliders for a 13-17 XV would fit a '19 wrx because those were on the same chassis... 🤔 🍹

Around how much would this weigh? I might pick one up for my forester.

...based on the material used and size, I'd wager btwn 20 and 25 lbs each. (could be more) Weight, plus their length/size also makes them awkward to handle.

Shipping weight is bout 85-90 lbs. Each slider assembled is 38-40 lbs.
