honestly I'd just build close by like a trainyard/airfield/junkyard type monument, you can run the road or boat farm too and get a good amount of kits easily
literally the only servers where you find actual zergs now, unless you want me to sit on a long server waiting 3 weeks for a 50 man to do anything in their 5000 turret base...

None of the groups we raid are less than us or less than 16 or so, so that pretty much explains everything you asked about
