Hi, unfortunately the sands has one of the worst beach fronts as you can see from the video. If you go 200 meters in either direction the beach is much better. I'll link in the Sentido beach for example but you are a bit of a walk into town. Hi, from the hotel reception its a short walk to the main road about 4-5 minutes and you are at the start of the main strip running through Khao Lak center where you will find loads of bars, shops restaurants etc...
Thanks for this video. Now i know its not my piece of cake. There’s no shade, only smal plants. Looks like its just finessed and has no nice romantic tropical atmosphere.
I really wanted to dislike this video but that would be unfair because I watched your other videos on khao lak which where far better resorts. Thanks for everything you have done for me in thinking that this area is pure thailand

Hi, I didn't film the area on purpose. I'm happy to film the main areas but I respect the privacy of families and children etc.....
Are you still there? Is it sunny, we plan to stay at The Sands in July 1st week.
It's very hot, most days are blue skies but it has rained and you can expect a few overcast days.

Last year in October it was raining quite a bit at night but most days were sunny and warm. The sea was very calm and perfect for swimming
