Great interaction between Rashid Sir and Sanjeev Sir, some of the key relatable takeaways-
For a new joinee the manager and culture of the organization are similar, and his or her experience is shaped mostly by that, hence it is critical to ensure that your new joiners (mostly campus) get better people managers, otherwise even with a seasoned culture one wouldn't be able to pass it on ahead.
Sycophancy is a subject of insecure managers, and culture should ideally act as check, and that is how it could act as a rider for such behaviour.
The Career Path (Manager vs Policy) - Both go hand in hand, although the veto does lie on the manager on most days, as even if the trajectory is not vibrant as per policy, the quality of work given can make an impact.
Culture Intelligence - Development of the same under new management guidelines - as cultural pollution would reduce the tenure of people at organisations, a very well made analogy to the environmental pollution and life span.
