God Eater 3 - Simple Guide to Leveling Burst Arts

Here we have a fantastic demonstration of amazing charge spear skills that I've trained up for 0 minutes of playtime, and I guess while we're at it, a guide on how to get your burst arts (and accel triggers) leveled up (relatively) painlessly.

How do you do a step attack again?

Isn't it much better to find a better mission with mostly stationary enemies? Or at least not very annoying ones? Since you only need to whack at them and even their corpses count, I think it's better to do it with low-leveled enemies or one of the easier large Aragami... unless the awakening gauge builds up quicker on high-level ones. Also, to avoid damage and get less lag-time, do Aerial devours.
Not really all that familiar with how it works yet, but this still looks daunting.

At the end of the day, it comes down to user preference. I prefer this mission using a rank 1 weapon, because it gives me a guaranteed IV for the first art of a new weapon, and atleast a III if im leveling a ground, air and a step art.
This video partly looks daunting due to the fact that I am using a new weapon I haven't used at all yet, and even worse, an art i hate (Akashik Breaker, the Light Aerial). I simply despise all aerial arts that have a built-in movement option that doesn't stop when it collides with another hitbox.
Since Burst Arts scale solely on the amount of hits you put out, and as far as I know, effective hits awaken more (don't quote me on this, just how its seemed), I prefer to do this mission where I can focus on a few Aragami at a time (unless you let it get out of hand, like what happens when your aerial art makes you dash everywhere like a lunatic) and beat on their corpses when they die without wasting much of their HP for non art hits.
The reason I don't like aerial devours is because the amount of Burst Meter you get from them is abysmal, but they still do the same amount of damage than a regular quick devour, while still being in the range of Dreadpike unburrows, Ogretail tailspikes and everything the Zygotes do.
I prefer to do this mission with a friend, link and heal bullets help both of you maintain the constant stream of hits easier, and the casual banter makes the mission less tiring.
Tl;dr do what feels best for you, this is just one method out there.

Plz help I can't figure out how to level up the skills like how you have light sleeper and steady at level 10

To get skills, you need to install skills you get from Abandoned God Arcs. You get AGAs from completing missions, and can install them in the crafting menu.
AGA skills can go up to level 5, and depending on the skill, it either activates at level 5, or scales from 1-10.
To put an AGA skill on a piece of equipment, they need to have slots, which are the empty squares you see below their stats.
If you can't install skills from the crafting menu yet, then you need to progress further into the game.

This and the rank 6 Quadriga mission is really good for leveling burst arts. Also question, how many light sleeper's can be stacked?

Unless the skill states "Activates at level 5", the skill will scale with every lvl up to 10.

I'd go for Twilight of the Hounds mission at rank 7, which not only takes you some time fighting ashborn, but also gives you more opportunity to use the BA you want to level up further

Its your dash med or heavy attAcks

You execute step burst arts by inputting a light or heavy attack right after dashing. ( If you're on PC, thats whatever your pick up key is followed by left or right mouse button )
