The name Moshi has been reported to refer to the smoke that emanates from the nearby mountain. The municipality covers about 59 square kilometres (23 sq mi) and is the smallest municipality in Tanzania by area.
Moshi is the gateway to Mount Kilimanjaro so there are tons of opportunities for hiking and exploring the famous mountain.
Moshi’s main travel attraction is the much-visited mountain and highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro which is located just about 45 minutes away from this town.

Is Very Clean Indeed, But it needs a little of TLC of the Side walks most are old and Broken in to pieces. Also Some buildings or rather houses are very old and never renovated while are situated in the middle of the Town.
