I brought home flowers from a recent funeral service of a close relative and wasn’t sure if I wanted to preserve the flowers until I watched your video! Awesome idea, thanks for the motivation!
@@hangma__1760 I use the book method. Some flowers lose their colour, others don't. My red roses and other tiny orange flowers retained their colour (it's been almost a year now).
Thank you, I'm looking for starting a scrapbook to give to my boyfriend at our wedding when it happens, but I'm starting it now because I can't imagine us ever ending (:
Ok so i did this recently, do ur flowers turn fragile too? The petals start breaking off. What do u do for them to retain their shape and not break off?
yes, they do turn brittle and l9se a lot of the color... I don't know what to do to keep it from happening... I'm going to start using the moisture control pellets and microwave method...
I’m wondering if the discoloration is coming from the dark felt. Have you tried using white? I’m just curious. I’ve just started experimenting with this whole process and found your video great. Also, you were very gracious in your response to the feedback about how you talk. I’m impressed! As a mother of several grown children, what she’s referring to is sometimes called upspeak. It has become more common in the last two decades, especially among females. (In the 80s, that’s what we called Valley Girl talk.) The reason it’s called upspeak is the last word or two are spoken at a higher pitch. That’s what makes it sound like a question. So “Did you hear thunder?” and “You can use roses or daisies” can both sound like a question if a person’s voice ends up. As a woman, the reason I don’t care for it is it sounds like a person is uncertain. I had to break my girls of the habit when they were younger. You exude much confidence, however, so talk however you want.
I wondered if the browning could be prevented by putting them into the microwave longer but with less power. I can regulate the wattnumber between 800-300 in my microwave.
I received chocolate flower bouquet from husband and idk what to do with the flower after days..its so beautiful, i dont want to throw it away and i dont want to let it witter... Scroll thru pinterest, got a bit idea then type on RUclips.. voila.. found your video..
What was the color of the cloth you used? Maybe try white so the color of both the flower and material won't bleed. Also timing is everything. Don't leave it in the microwave to long for it will discolor and evaporate faster.
@@mattdays9403 I kept them inside a book...but didn't bake them....just left them like that to dry up... the next day itself the white flowers turned brown as if they were rotting
@@harekrishnagraphy hmmm.. It could be that the flowers have to much water. So when placed in the book, the water comes out of the flowers instead of it being soaked up by the paper leaving it to discolor your flower. Especially since its white. I would recommend placing paper towles in between the flowers or doing this microwave method for white.
You're very talented, and have the right idea. I'm an Old Buck with almost no Art talent and need to learn hacks. I won't criticize as you shall be successful. I'm not sure where and when delivering every sentence in the Interrogative became fashionable or an acceptable pattern of speaking . I've heard many younger folks doing it. I'm going into the Imperative here. Try your best to stop this habit. You, bless your creative soul, did not drop a single "like" bomb. That is so uplifting it cannot even be described. So cool! I’ve honestly never done monsteras, so I wouldn’t want to steer you in the wrong direction. I would try silica first and see if that works, but only if you have extra leaves you can experiment with
cool alternative technique, just a suggestion from a fellow youtuber, invest in a mic like a lavalier or video mic pro by rode so it wont seem like you are yelling. have a good day!

Will the flowers lose its colour in time?

Absolutely love this, and how the flowers turned out. Especially love the finished product! Im going to do this for sure!

you're doing great by trying many times so that we know how it works on many kind of flowers and leaves. greeting from indonesia😊

they last for so long because if you left regular flowers they’d brown quick
