This is my favourite cleanser of all time. I have very sensitive skin and I have rosacea sometimes and I have to be really careful about how what kind ofcleanser My dermatologist told me to try this and I’ve been using it for like three years now I love it. It’s such a gentle cleanser, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes. I did try Kiels Ultra facial cleanser I think and it just burned my eyes. I was had an allergic reaction so I stopped using that 😮 They make a really nice moisturizer as well. Totally recommend this product. It’s so gentle on your skin.
I alternate between this one and the Cerave foaming cleanser. I was hesitant at first because I have oily, acne-prone skin but it has not negatively impacted my skin. 🙂

I am currently using the inkey list oat cleansing balm to remove sunscreen and the bioderma sebium gel moussant to actually wash for my face and get into the deeper layer of my skin .Its perfect for oily , combination , acne prone and sensitive skin as it helps to balance the natural occurring oils on the skin ; as well as cleanse the skin without leaving it tight or dry and respecting the skins barrier .Also Ph balanced .
Very good review I just bought it to try out. I have mature sensitive skin. I have been using the outset for over a year now. It’s pretty good but can be pricey for a cleanser. I have been eye balling these one for awhile. God bless you Xoxolynette 3232💜💜🙏🏾🙏🏾
I also have a list of fashion videos I’m doing - if you don’t know, I’m a fashion designer with styling and personal shopping experience. What do you need help with when it comes to fashion and style?
It’s good in the sense that hydrated and moisturized skin does help to protect the skin barrier. If you’re looking to prevent acne, I would try to figure out what’s the cause and then find a treatment that works based on that. I have hormonal acne and I was on spironolactone for it, but now I just treat with benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin, and tretinoin. I’ve known people with cystic acne to take accutane. A good solid, basic routine can help you figure out what may be the source and go from there. 🤎
I think so! Cerave also has a great gentle cleanser. I don’t know if you do this already, but oil cleansing might help as a double cleanse since you only wash your face once a day.
I’ve never tried that one, but judging based on the product information I think it’s for very sensitive and dry skin. The one I reviewed in this video is gentle and hydrating, but it sounds like the Dermo Cleanser takes it further. It sounds like it’d be great for people who live in very cold and windy environments and/or may be using tretinoin or other drying products like Accutane. Of course, follow up with a dermatologist or esthetician.
I think either one of these are good matches: www.laroche-posay.co.uk/en_GB/toleriane-dermo-cleanser-wipe-off-milk/LRPUK-004.html and www.laroche-posay.co.uk/en_GB/cicaplast-lavant-b5-gel/LRPUK-043.html.
I would say that could be a standard amount. For me, if I'm wearing makeup, I'll use more, but I tend to do probably what equates to a full pump. I think the recommended size amount for a cleanser is a dime-sized.
The cleanser will not do that. I recommend using retinol or a retinoid for fading dark marks and getting rid of blackheads. I'm trying out Topicals Faded and have seen great results so far and BHAs are good for blackheads.
@@TerynAParker it actually will help with dark marks , This cleanser includes niacinamide , and other Ceramides , Niacinamide rlly helps fading darks spots and hyperpigmentation ! might not be much but the addition of those ingredients are great for Hyperpigmentation !
I’m aware of the ingredients and how they affect skin! 🤎 My point was that relying on a cleanser to fade dark marks is not effective. Using it as an addition to a product specifically targeted to lighten hyperpigmentation? Sure. I would argue a moisturizer would have a better impact than a cleanser you wash off after a very short period of time.
It doesn’t foam? I can’t even see the product as your washing your face. I am heavy handed and I would need 3 to 4 pumps to feel like it’s actually cleansing my face 😂
@@TerynAParker I usually use less and think my skin could use more so I didn't know it half a pump or if a full pump was fine? Didn't want to over use.
I think half pump will be fine! Some people use a dime sized amount. I don’t have the cleanser with me right now since I’m traveling so I can’t remember 😂 I think some of it is preference, but it’s a gentle cleanser and only stays on the skin for so long so I wouldn’t use a ton. Sometimes I rinse and do another cleanse with a smaller amount.
I have no idea. I’m not a professional nor do I know your skin/routine. If I were you, I would make sure my skin barrier is healthy and look at other factors such as environment, stress-levels, and other products in my routine, etc. My advice is to make sure your skin is hydrated and moisturized. I hope this helps! 🤎

I used that one before and loved it and I love this one too! I’m glad it’s working for you. La Roche-Posay is a great brand in my opinion.
I see lots of comparison videos between the LaRoche and Cereve. Between the foaming ones and non-foaming ones.
For some reason it bothers me when soaps don’t lather . I don’t doubt its amazing but I need some suds lol 🗣️ . Great review
I get it 😂 Thank you kindly 🤎

Hey! I haven’t tried that one, but they sound pretty similar. Depending on what your goal is, either one should be fine. 🤎

Hiiii what do u think about using simple soap bar on face???
Hey! ☺️ I think it could be drying. I have oily skin so I avoid that may strip my skin too much because it will cause even more oil and acne. 😅
Would using that cleanser and a moisturizer after good for preventing acne?

U should use Vaseline at night for slugging your skin won't be dry
I’ve used a healing ointment for years now, but I appreciate it! 🤎
I have combination skin and I’m also on tretinoin, do you think this is a good option to use at night since i only cleanse my face once a day?

It does not foam. It has a milky appearance and becomes clear which is probably why you can’t see it. 🤗
Why do you use a hydrating cleanser for oily skin?
Shouldnt you use foaming cleanser?
Having oily skin does not mean your skin is hydrated. Keeping my skin hydrated and moisturized helps prevent my skin from being super oily.
Using products just for oily skin has been debunked by professionals. Stripping skin of its oily only makes the skin produce more.
Can it cause any acne
It shouldn’t! This is a mild cleanser so it’s great if you do have acne.
