HOW CAPSULES ARE MADE (compounding pharmacy edition)

One area of pharmacy that pharmacists, pharmacy students and pharmacy technicians can work in is compounding. Compounding pharmacy is a cool area of pharmacy where you are making medications for patients that are not commercially available.
Don’t know where to find a compounding pharmacy? If you search for one online you can find one right in your local area (usually it’s an independent pharmacy but there may be chain compounding pharmacies in your area)

Wait, what do you guys make capsules of in the pharmacy? I thought everything came in a bigger bottle from companies.
The only thing I have ever seen made in pharmacy was happy hiney diaper rash ointment back when my children were babies (circa 2003-2007) which had a statin in it.

Compounding pharmacies will make medication, average pharmacies don't, as far as I know.

Reminds me of my AFL Praktikum during Grundstudium, but our equipment wasn’t so shiny as students!
