As a 40 year old, having seen all of these presidents in some capacity in my lifetime really gave me pause. It brings to the front of my mind that, just as I am aging at a rate that feels like light speed, so are these politicians and presidents. It almost shocked me how much older everyone looks. Time is so, so fleeting. Love one another, do what you love in this life, and carry grace along the way. When it’s our time, may we all be remembered and respected as Mr. Carter. May he rest in peace. 🙏🏽
