All time favorites: GH Dark Birdseye, Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe Krantz, GH Dark Flake unscented, Crooner, Pegasus. Love the fishing talk in with the pipe/cigar/tobacco talk!
That is awesome!Enjoy your days off! You were nominated for a quite a few categories on this year’s People’s Choice Pipe Week Awards going on right now. Pipe week is always the week after Father’s Day. The awards will be announced this Saturday around 6pm. Have an awesome rest of the week!
@@beans316Yes. Much better now. I decided to go back to school and get and MBA degree so I’m currently writing papers and taking test weekly so perhaps I have too much on my plate. Hopefully after this week, things will calm down a bit. I need to take up fishing. I remember going fishing every Saturday with my dad for years when I lived in Puerto Rico then we continued the tradition when we moved to Johnson City Tennessee. After we move to Florida it stopped and I haven’t gone fishing now in years. Good memories and so relaxing
Brian, as we've mentioned before, your taste in blends and mine are about 180° apart, and I don't fish, but I always enjoy you. Have a great week off, my friend!
Thanks for the mid-week video! I'm loking forward to 9 days off in July myself. My top blends at the moment are 2024 Palmetto Balkan, Star of the East(my go to blend), HH Dark Fired Kentucky, and HH Rustica. I'm getting more into Virginias thanks to your videos. I just got in a pound of Sutliff Virginia Slices.
It’s great that you have all this time off work to fish and even better give us more reviews. Lately I have been smoking Reinier #71, Peretti’s 150th (with added Perique), Boswell’s Private Stock, Dunhill Cabbie’s Mix, and Sansepolcro (with a touch of Cuban cigar clippings). Thanks for the review!
Thanks for this mid week video! I really appreciate it! My all time top 5 nowdays could be orlik, deluxe navy rolls,hu broken flake,hh virginia and solani 633. I have a few more in my mind for sure but it's quite difficult to narrow it down What hu tobaccos are your favourites? Have a great vacations! A big hug from Spain!
Are there any pros/cons to black morta as apposed to briar? I love the look and shape of your pipes. I’ll get one one of these days. Enjoy your vacation!
I don’t smoke the blends you do but I watch for the reviews on the stronger blends as it’s interesting. That and I like bourbons and fishing too. I don’t have favorites really as I’m pretty simple. EMP, Boswells no bite delite, and Maltese falcon are recent blends that I have smoked.
These last two do sound interesting. I’ve shied away from them due to the red VAs-C&D’s tend to bite me-but when I burn through some more tins to make room…
It’s fun trying blends with no review! My top one’s Russ Ouellette Firestorm, SPC Mississippi River C&D Haunted Bookshop G.L. Pease Quiet Nights Reiner Gold Honorable Mentions Capstan Blue P.S. Luxury Twist Flake M.B. Bold Kentucky Rattray’s Old Gowrie
First of all, I really appreciate your videos. I’ve been an avid cigar smoker for years and got into pipes about 3 months ago. I’ve been pedal to the metal ever since! I’m curios about why you typically try a blend for the first time in cob? My experience has been that a cob adds a subtle sweetness that normally wouldn’t be there…
Quick note on pronunciation of the name in Hebrew: ORE LEH YOME (like home). I'm no expert in Hebrew, but I did learn to read some Hebrew some years back.
You and I may differ on some of the burleys but on the Va and Vaper front we agree. I also respect your thoughts and appreciate you doing all these reviews cause they AINT CHEAP. Enjoy the rest of you week buddy!!!!!

When I was still working I remember how important my holidays were to me. Enjoy that time off and fish as much as you can .... you can make pipes all winter long.
Fishing takes priority!!! Even better when the bite is on.freaking rubber bands who would have thought. I thought they were all tangled in that jug. lol nope good to go.
Since I’ve seen you smoke Liga Privada a few times now Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust is worth a try. The founder Steve Saka is an original blender of Liga Privada.
You’ve definitely been using the boat this year. Doesn’t get much better than being on the water! Heading over to the lake after lunch to work on my paddle boarding skills 😂 Lake Life!
@@beans316 you make it down to Summersville the people want to see your skyscraper azz up on a paddle board 😂 It’s shaky bro especially when someone sends some big wake your way 😬 They say You fell! I say Nope. Jumped in to cool off 🤣 Lies!
@@beans316 Good for you! I was in Florida offshore fishing last week. The heat was outrageous, but it didn't stop me from doing what I love! Didn't hurt that I caught a PB Red Snapper at 24lbs. I posted pictures in this ruclips.net/video/7ECnfcP4xXA/видео.html video if you want to check them out. Cheers, Andy.
Just tried the awakened elder based on your recommendation man, you were spot on. That is some rich good flavor. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Thank you sir
Great seeing you again so soon. I hope you have a good vacation!. Im going to have to pick up some tins of the previous blend after hearing how much you like it. 5 of my favorite blends, in no particular order- Former's, Cross grain flake. L.J Peretti, park square. Robert McConnell, Red Virginia. Watch City Cigars, Rouxgaroux. Sam Gawith, full virginia flake. I just recently got some Salty Dogs and enjoy it, but havent had enough time with it to call it a favorite. I also finally got some Sam Gawith, St James flake, but i havent been able to try it yet. I have high hopes for both the Salty Dogs and the st james flake becoming favorites
Hey Brian, I definitely agree about the cobblestone Hiking. Tried that after your review. At the moment it’s my favorite. There’s just something about it I really enjoy. I stocked up so have a bit to age. We’ll see if that happens. Thanks for the reviews. I’m very much inline with “most” of what you like and your input has been helpful to me. BTW, I enjoy the fishing content very much. I fish as much as I can, which is 3 times a week on a good week. Weekend warrior on most. Enjoy the vacation!
You can honestly do them yourself no need to pay someone else , you can buy them some don’t even need tenons turned I’ll try and remember to discuss it Saturday
The Gates of light tobacco from your last video sounds interesting. I guess right now my favorites are Peter Stokkebye Norwegian Blend, Amphora Burley, Haunted Bookshop, Daughters and Ryan Windsail Silver, and St Bruno. I go through phases where I really like Old Joe Krantz, and sometimes Briar Fox.

Are there any pros/cons to black morta as apposed to briar? I love the look and shape of your pipes. I’ll get one one of these days. Enjoy your vacation!
Morta is like a cob or Meershaum they don’t ghost your pipe and the Material is very old most over 5,000 years
Right on. Thank you. I knew it was old but that was all I knew lol. Thanks again. Hopefully one of these days I’ll be able to pick one up
