This was already pretty much answered in canon. He is not proud of it, but he copes with it by telling himself he did what he had to do. I doubt he struggles to trance at night about it.
Tbh, I feel like the characters look like the actors, at least somewhat. But Lae'Zel is HOT. And so is the actress, she could have been a model easily.
I can totally relate to Neil with respect to playing D&D as a kid. I was playing the game from the early 80s to the early 90s.....at the time its only claim to fame was a very brief appearance in E.T The Extra Terrestrial &, of course, the ludicrous "Satanic Panic" fiasco. So definitely way before it was "cool".
Looking forward to hearing this while delivering the mail in my postal vehicle tomorrow. I’ve found interviews with the cast are inspiring. The writing is fantastic in BG3. Thousands of hours of acting performance, honing their craft, makes this game Art
wow. adore these two, what fabulous actors. thank you for bringing your tremendous skills to these beloved characters!! and a lovely job interviewing as well, fun tone and chemistry 😊
🥳 Cool discovery! I adopted my dog in August 2020 and her temporary name was’Happy Hands’ - turns out there’s a Happy Hands character in the thieves guild in BG3! I didn’t keep the name for her, but turns out it was quite proper!😂
The mocap suits are fairly elastic from what I recall, since they have to fit different actors with different body shapes quite frequently. Even two people who both use a medium or large mocap suit can be noticeably different in shape.
A little check online says Karlach is an eastern european surname, particularly in Czechia. The surname Carlach is from Scotland with some instances in Ireland. Written as MacThearlaich in gaeilc from what I saw.
FFS Dev, you are gorgeous and a great VA, but wear your trousers properly or not at all. That there looks as silly as baggy pants that hinders your ability to walk by hanging low. Oh well... Two great VAs, Neil is wonderfully weird and positive. He would be so entertaining to have in your TTRPG group. Or have him GM for Matt, Travis, Sam, Laura, Liam, Chris Perkins, Darin da Paul, and Brennan Lee Mulligan. Imagine the chaos.
I love how much Neil is like the biggest hype-man for everyone he worka with, he's so positive
The guy who asked about if Astarion felt bad about all the hearts he's broken. GIVE HIM A JOB LARIAN

Why though...?
Lae’zel played Devora Wilde so well, she might be level 20 now.
It’s so cool that BG3 can be played multiple times and give players a completely different experience.

The spectrum of how much the actor looks like the character goes from Karlach to Shadowheart
They look like the characters because they used their own faces in the motion capture sessions.
@@Vrakoatthey didn't use motion capture for the faces in this game. I was surprised when I found that out
@@nunpho They did?
@@nunpho they did sometimes, like for the famous Lae'zel eye roll.
The whole cast is brilliant, I love the entire party. Everybody had done an incredible job portraying their characters.
I had the most tender caring conversation with Astarion in my dark urge play through. Amazing

I could see shadowheart fans naming their daughters Jenevelle
I'm in love with Lae'zel and I won't be taking questions
Amazing performance!
@@Jenny_Oblivion Absolutely. And I couldn't ever imagine anyone playing her other than Devora
Lae’ zel is really everyone’s best friend 🙂

😂Loved l
Lae’zel’s ‘give me my toy’ 🤣
The High Rollers one shot was magical.
31:30 and a lot of Astarion lovers has just fainted with excitement over this!
Great interview, love these guys!
Great questions from the audience! My neighbor ( in America) is from Birmingham - I’ll tell him about this 🙂
Those were great fan questions

This is a fantastic interview🎉love all the fan questions!!
Lae’zel is the best! Unfortunately, for my second play through,Lae’zel got kidnapped! Major loss! First play, Gale was kidnapped 🤣
I think the character Astarian would be more of a fan of Depeche Mode ☺️
This interviewer is 🔥🔥🔥 yes! Great job!
TIL there are mocap suits for pregnant people. lol
The mocap suits are fairly elastic from what I recall, since they have to fit different actors with different body shapes quite frequently. Even two people who both use a medium or large mocap suit can be noticeably different in shape.
They aren's specifically designed for pregnant bodies tho
Wasn't Karlach a Gealic name?

has the MCM Comic Con given permission to post this here?
