Got gifted a red eared slider and didn't have much of a budget. Watching this, I went to pet smart got me my heating lap, filter and home depot for the rocks and container. Happy to say my new turtle has a new home with plenty of space to grow. Thanks for the recommendation. Keep making bad ass videos dude. 🤙
They are very cool, hardy, delicious(jk), and interesting. They can be hard to maintain because of such a mess they make but they should make an ultimately perfect pet!

I've done this, who knew the turtle I got could mountain climb, had his ropes and everything. Caught him in the corner under the radiator, that was the last open top pond I did.

Thank you for sharing this video. I live in an apartment and I'm researching some realistic ideas that I can use for my potential Slider Turtle idea and I'm planning to buy some Guppies. But glass tanks is not something I should work with, because the sizes that I need for said aquariums, my landlord will not approve the glass tanks due to possible leakage issues, so you're ideas are helpful. I saw some videos on a black plastic tub, the problem with that is I won't be able to see inside, thus using see-through tubs is important, so thank you for taking the time to post this idea :) and I hope to learn more until I have enough saved to buy such things and make my ideas real :)
I hope in the near future you could make something for a large RES for outside.I thought about a kiddy pool but he can get out of those. and suggestion? You are very good at doing easy fun, things.

Yes you do need a filter & lights BUT you can make a canister filter with things around your home as well! Looks good though 😉

Could you use the plastic tub for a long use? Glass tanks are so expensive these days and it’s hard to find them 3rd party
