Simple, yet elegant. What more could one ask for in a traditional Café Racer design? As always, thank you for Racer TV. Once again, you have presented an excellent video that serves as an inspiration to builders.
Awesome presentation and also you got a kin observations in every detail,it's one of the reasons why I love your videos you're showing the simple details.
The design is imposed on the view in a natural way. I like the simplicity with which it is resolved what is a complex design, just mention the tank with that correct alignment. Elegance and simplicity a perfect combination. Last Sunday was the event of my city called Moto Fiesta, more than forty thousand motorcycles rolling, in a unique experience. I rode the thirty kilometers in my little 150cc. Something I expected from last year. Best regards
40.000???. That is very impressive. One of the biggest motorcycle concentrations/events in Europe, usually occurs in the south of Portugal, and it has "only" about 20 thousand motorcycles. As usual, Thank you Alejandro for sharing your perspective about the motorcycle of this week. :) Saludos

Vivendo e aprendendo, no RACER TV!
i understand your point. But usually the rear shocks are hard, which means that the movement of the swing arm is relatively short. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Belíssima máquina! Linhas agradáveis e postura agressiva, sempre em alto nível o trabalho desses construtores. Parabéns! Bela caffracer e excelente vídeo! Grande abraço!
Hey! I'd better own that bike coz it says my name and my middle initial is also "T" 😄😁 Glad that I've found it here! Cafe lover here in the Philippines 😎
Love this bike!!! really really love it, it fits the perfectly the real "cafe" idea, it's classic, modern, agressive yet elegant. Amazing what a talented guy can do with a "regular cheap" motorcycle. PS: Watching other videos I've stumble with one of your videos being uploaded for another channel/guy, it gives no credit or link to your channel ¿is this regular or legal?. If you need it I can give you the link to this guy/video so you can ask him to remove or what ever you think propper to do.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. And Thank you for your information. I already saw some of my videos that were "stolen" by other channels. Fortunately it will never work, and i'm letting them think that they are going to have any advantage on that. But thanks for your support. :) Cheers.
Stunning. Both of the Hookie motocycles that you've featured are absolutely beautifully done. I would love to know the maker of the headlamp and signals, front and rear, for this project. I am thinking of possibly incorporating one of them into my Honda 550f project.
I'm glad you liked my friend. Unfortunately this headlight seems to be very expensive. Something arround 400 euros. But if you search on google images for "cafe racer modern headlights", you will find similar headlights. Good luck. Cheers.
Hi. Unfortunately, it is very difficult for me answering all messages. But try to send me a photo, in a private message on Racer TV's Facebook Page. I will try to answer you. Thank you my friend for your support. Cheers.
Yes, but that is not what i meant in the video. What i meant was that i never discovered 2 amazing projects from the same builder, but at the same time. At least, as far as i remember. Cheers.
RACER TV Yes I keep buying them when they are cheap but my garage is getting full. I have two cafe racers a CB 200 and a CB250. I am in retirement and will build more cafe racers. By the way I love your channel as it inspires me so much when I see what creativity that others have. I love cafe racers from watching RACER TV. Keep up the good work. George
Are those the Firestone Champion Deluxe Tires? I am really asking myself what the perfect tires for a 250 should be? Are the wheels the original ones. The front one seems bigger...
@@RACER_TV so did he put on an 19" tire on a 18" rim? The original 250 comes with an 3.00-18 front and a 3.50-18 back tire... do you think its the way to go to mount two seperate brands of tires on a bike?
No, 19 inches tires only fit on 19 inch rims. This means that they changed the from rim. There is no problem on having different brand tires. I have to say, that the Avon Speedmaster tire, is only suited for front wheels.
The tank lettering was not to my personal taste... but the sheet metalwork on the tank was excellent @ 4:59 the image highlights the skilled work. Nice!
Yes, but that is not what i meant in the video. What i meant was that i never discovered 2 amazing projects from the same builder, but at the same time. At least, as far as i remember. Cheers.

What more can we want? I want more suspension travel in the rear. The space between the tire & body, is freaking me out. I don't know how perfect the paved roads are in Germany, but in the U.S., I would never run such a short stroke.
I already rode a motorcycle with a very low and hard front suspension, it is hard, but i can assure you that the speed sensation is also much higher. Cheers.
RACER TV I think I understand what you mean. The unsettling feeling of a hard suspension, can play into: "it's better to ride a slow bike fast, then a fast bike slow." Pushing a relatively small & weak bike, to it's limits, can be very fun, and won't draw as much attention & trouble, as doing the same with a bigger, stronger bike. But I'm not into cafe racers for the style, or a small scale sensation. I want actual, high end performance. I grew up with tunercar culture. Turning economy cars into full-blown, personalized racecars...Then I became loyal to motorcycles, cafe racers fall right into that Tuner mindset. Car or motorcycle, one thing I learned, a suspension stroke, should be long & soft enough, to absorb bumps you expect to encounter. Certain kinds of race vehicles, can get away with low & stuff suspensions, because the tracks they're on, are so smooth. So they can focus more, on low centers of gravity, and reducing excessive body roll. And you can experiment with how hard the front or rear suspension is, to control which is more able to slide, to personalize oversteer or understeer. Whether I start my Cafe build, on a CB400F frame, or a Goldwing frame. I want as much grip & stability, as possible. Especially on the bad roads of my country. I frequently bottom out the front suspension of my moped, on unavoidable potholes, dips, ruts, and bumps. But I still enjoy riding, being on 2 wheels, delivering things for a living. And I'm saving for a cafe build, to replace this scooter. A bike I can hold with my legs, and has a much better suspension, for safety & comfort.
Try to search on youtube for "Yamaha SR500 Cafe Racer", and "Yamaha SR400 Cafe Racer". And you will find several of my videos about that motorcycle. Cheers.

Considering that this is a classic motorcycle from the 70's, and if you try to use an apparent stock exhaust, i think you won't have problems with the authorities. Cheers.
Yes, it is. Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because i'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that i like for my videos. I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos, but things didn't worked as i expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non english natives. Cheers.
Hi Sebi1970. I am not the person who deals with Becaferacer Orders. But i already spoke with my website partners about your order. They are going to check it out as soon as possible. We will keep in touch. Thanks. Cheers.
You talk about having an 'individual' design but...most of the bikes are just clones of each other. Nothing really wrong with that I guess. This coming from a guy who built North America's ONLY XL400EX street tracker for, now get this, UNDER $650 !!

I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos, but things didn't worked as i expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non english natives. Cheers.
😮👍🏼

Look at order 1736😉
Hi Sebi1970. I am not the person who deals with Becaferacer Orders. But i already spoke with my website partners about your order. They are going to check it out as soon as possible. We will keep in touch. Thanks. Cheers.
You talk about having an 'individual' design but...most of the bikes are just clones of each other. Nothing really wrong with that I guess. This coming from a guy who built North America's ONLY XL400EX street tracker for, now get this, UNDER $650 !!
