"Be Free" by Keith LaMar & Albert Marquès

Musicians, students and supporters of Keith LaMar gathered in Chicago November 12-13 at Northwestern University. This video highlights one performance that took place during the events. "Be Free" was a musical improvisation which took place with the Freedom First musicians, and Keith calling in on the phone.
Keith LaMar is a death row prisoner who was wrongfully convicted in the State of Ohio. On November 16, 2023, the State intends to execute him, even though he has maintained his innocence for nearly three decades, all while being held in indefinite solitary confinement.
