I did this. Waited like two weeks for the screen. I was so excited at how simply the install was; then I cracked the new screen while pressing it into the back cover. I nearly cried like baby. Ordered two screens this time. Gonna try again.
Very useful. Just be aware that there's a short flat cable at the top of the screen to connect it to the systemboard. If you want to follow this procedure to get to the inside of the tablet and keep the screen intact be careful not to tear that cable!
there are some kind of sticky glass shaped plastic films that can do the job for you... all those little crystal pieces will get stacked into that and then you just pull back to remove them. the rest can be easily removed with some gripper
Tyis appears to be a video about replacing both the digitizer and the glass screen on the tab e. It is a very misleading video therefore since the title says it's about replacing the screen and doesn't mention the digitizer under the screen being replaced as well...
I will try this when i get a set of pry tools. I dont know how but i cracked the display under the glass. Ususaly when that happens, the glass is cracked and im pretty sure its not plastic.
I dropped my gun on my tablet, broke the screen. Bought a replacement. Battery is swelling. Used this video to take the battery out of the old one and have a repair shop put in the new one
You chipped a piece off the side and in the video your not speaking this is not a good step by step Instructions. I just would of liked it if we could see the tablet completely when your taking off the back of it u cant see it in the video you made . Grrr
