I owned one of these after having and OG for a couple of years. It’s much faster and catches its edges less than the OG. it’s more of a classic creeker in that sense that it has softer edges but has super modern amounts of rocker and a common theme now is a shorter stern longer bow thought it was more forgiving in pushier water. The only thing it didn’t have is that super light feel on the water that Waka has where you can literally lift the bow with no effort, boofs take a touch more effort to get the same effect as a Waka. I found it handled my weight at 240lbs absolutely fine. I’d definitely say this could be a popular design in the US if enough people tried it
That's great man. Thanks for the extra input. It is for sure an impressive design. I have demos in the PNW and am selling them anywhere West of the Mississippi. Good lines brother
I paddled its sister model the DR9 in Ecuador and loved it. I also dropped it about 70 feet down a canyon wall, it skipped off the rocks and into the water with no damage. Solid plastic.
No Corran in this boat. Also a massive plus is the plastic we are using...Its so damn strong now! All my boats are 2 seasons old paddling almost only class 5 creeks.
I prefer the feeling of both the OG and stoke over the DRX. I like a hard edge and a super plaining hull. Better performance and better feeling for river running style! The DRX is great but much more round and soft
@@evangarcia9698 thank you a lot, I bought a OG 4 years ago that you recommended for me, was very good , was all like you said, I have now the DRX, but I fell big to me, I have 71 kg, and 1.78 tall, but the stoke look nice boat, I go for it,I sell the DRX ,thank you to help begging kayakers🙌🏼😂🙏🏽👊🏽 good lines

Can't wait to get back to NC! Green Race is calling me to clean up my mess!
@@evangarcia9698 yes sir!
Did you try out the kush?
Wow
is corran still designing these?
No the dr9 and drx were designed by the dragorossi guys themselves with local team paddlers input
