Another winion! Glad to see this is taking off so much with so many people reacting to Jorge's work! Especially since we'll be getting the next saga at the end of this month! \o/
@@velaslive I'm slowly but surely expanding this amazing concept musical to my circles (family, friends, etc.) I'm so excited for every new release and any fun tidbit from Jorge's channel! It's burrowed it's way into my head and won't leave... And I'm here for it! 🤣
I am very new to Greek mythology. I was very lucky to have such amazing chatters who would inform me on things I did not know or mistaked. I appreciate yall so much for educating me on so many different parts of this story!!
I am glad that you enjoyed in this musical Vela, also, sorry if i didn't noticed that you live streamed (could have been part of your chat), luckly, i am watching your VOD now and i am enjoying in it now, glad to see you exploring Greek mythology ✌️👍🥺💗💓☺️🤗😇🥰💝💖
As cool as I think the chosen animatic is for My Goodbye, I think it makes more sense that they don't fight physically, both of them take pride in finding other ways to solve their problems, and even then, I think they both know that their words are the most painful things they have in that moment. A lot of other reaction vids just stick the same playlist, very nice to see you show some others. I've seen a lot of others, and it seems most either know a lot about the original story, or nothing, it was interesting to see one that fell more in between. By the way, about those that were saying 'oh did you know that after, this happened?' there are a number of contradicting stories about what happened after that weren't recorded by Homer, so, take that with a grain of salt. (although, the idea that even back in ancient Greece, writers would change the ending of stories so that the hero ended up with someone else is . . . sobering)
I like your interpretation of my goodbye! Thank you so much for explaining this further! Some of the other endings I’ve been hearing are concerning 😭 I hope to read more of the odyssey so I can at least know of homers version but I’m still at Telemachus sailing off to find news of his dad so I’m quite early on 😅 much to learn but I’m loving it!
@@velaslive I made an attempt to read a translation of the Odyssey during high school. I can't recall if I actually finished or just got close, but it was one of the toughest reads I've ever done. Still, it's a pretty interesting read, it's long-winded, and there are clear social and cultural differences, but you can see why it has had such impact (you'ld be surprised how 'cliches' owe their origin to Homer).
I honestly don't know how I found you, but it's so nice to listen to someone gush about epic again! Thanks for the tree trivia too, I swear I learn smth new everytime. I hope to catch you on the next stream~
It was so nice to get to talk about it with those so well versed in the universe 😭 the fans of this are incredibly educated and lovely, and ikr every time I go back and watch it I see smth new!!
Hiya again Vela, and boy, glad that you returned live streaming on your channel, in here, also, you were reacting to a Epic the musical, and you allready loving it soo much that you watching it again, boy, i totally loved it, the live stream and this musical (by the way, i love thus little ghost blob that you have next to your Vtube avatar, and this small pink cookie on your shoulder, they're both super adorable) 👋☺️🤗✌️📹❤️🎵🎼🎶😍😻🤩

Most of my knowledge about the Trojan war is from the Illiad, but that means I know all the guys mentioned in the first song. All those mentioned are either rulers of different cities in Greece or strong fighters representing a city. Neo is actually the song of Achilles who died towards the end of the Illiad. He goes by a couple different names, but the line saying 'avenge your father, kill the brothers of Hector' is based on the fact his father Achilles died after killing Hector.

AWWW THE CHAT MISSED U I KNOW IITTTTT Thank you for stopping supaduck
So a lot of people know about the nobody bit, but what they don’t know is Ody said I am “Nemo”. Both a name and to mean no one.
That’s so clever
It's probably more appropriate to use Outis the Greek word for noone, Nemo is the Latin word ...presumably in the Roman retelling of the story
