Hi you don’t have to turn around to go up the ladder just hit x and you will jump up backwards and you can lower your speed while still facing your rods from up top. You don’t have to turn around to the control panel. Oh and the game is very realistic when fishing in real life you can go out one day and catch heaps then the next time you go you may only get one or 2 fishing the same spot in the same conditions. Oh and as for some players getting fish while others are not that is realistic to. As you can be fishing next to your mate using the same bait and rig and casting the same distance and yet they will be hauling the fish in while you can hardly get a bite.
