What an interesting woman. Her story is so full of life, strength, determination, wonder, adventure, self discovery, love and inspiration. Her life experiences must be shared so that we can get a glimpse of the Power, Strength, Intelligence, beauty, wisdom and most importantly, LOVE that is in all of us. Experiences and life stories such as this are definitely meant to be shared. You went on this journey for all of us. Thank so much! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️

What an uplifting account. So extraordinary that she met the man in her NDE. And his wisdom is profound. She is so clearly genuine...her kindness is her witness. I am grateful that she has openly shared her story. I will be pondering it for some time.

Much of this woman’s story is a cautionary tale. I hope that all people suffering from bulimia and other eating disorders or mental health disorders can more easily find the support they need. “Spiritual teachers” often do not have the tools (or the knowledge) to be able to help individuals with mental illness, which was the case with this woman. She found healing after she returned home, through writing out her story, which is a process similar to journaling. Regardless of whether or not her meeting with the “spiritual teacher” was divinely inspired, this woman needed support, and she traveled thousands of miles without finding the proper resources to help her recover from her debilitating and life-threatening illness. Glad she thought to write out her experiences and that that tool was helpful for her.

omg it's YOU again... how about you stop acting like you know what's best for someone else's life? Only God can judge... but you'd probably claim God "doesn't have the tools (or the knowledge!) to be able to help individuals with mental illness...." haha... materialists are crazy.

I would like to share something with you. I took up learning photography in 2012. Although I loved to take macro shots of flowers for their beauty and detail, I developed a passion for photographing peoples faces. My teacher was the one who pointed it out to me. It was unexpected, to fall in love with taking photographs of peoples faces. Do you know what was so incredible to me, that I saw the beauty in everyone. With scars and all. Sometimes the most beautiful people to me where the car guard, or the woman cleaning fish at the market, or a handicapped child laughing, or a beggar sitting with his dog at the beach, or the Xhosa man cleaning out bees from our house. As beautiful as flowers are is as beautiful people are. I believe you are beautiful. 💕🌸😊

Omg! You're really beautiful! How can you even think like that about yourself?
It's often the case where pretty ladies think very badly of their appearance and the ones who need a ton of makeup to go even to the shops, think their are beautiful!
There's absolutely nothing wrong with you , more than that - you're very pretty. ❤🤗♥️🤗

This was a mind provoking and amazing story. I would love ❤️ to read an Autobiography of her life. It also would be awesome to visit so many exciting and exotic places ! I have always wanted to go to Tibet and sit with the monks quietly for just one day, even tho I am a Christian it’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was very young, maybe because of my ADHD and empathic nature, I just want my mind finally still…..God bless & Shalom 🙏🏼❤️🕊

It would be interesting to hear the son’s perspective on this woman’s life choices and how they have impacted him. My guess is that the story would sound quite different. Abandonment wounds can last a lifetime. I understand that many individuals on a “spiritual” path leave behind their dependents because they feel they have been guided by their intuition to seek a certain teacher or to travel to a specific destination. This behavior is normalized (and even encouraged) within many Western New Age communities but is probably destructive in many (if not most) cases. A few years ago, my partner and I inadvertently became the caregivers for two elderly dogs for this very reason. The dogs’ human mom was a devotee of a “guru” and left the dogs with us while she traveled the world on a spiritual quest for 6 weeks. When she returned to the US, she decided to move out of state but left the dogs with us. Ultimately, my partner kept the dogs after he and I split, and they lived with him for the remainder of their lives. One of the dogs suffered from debilitating anxiety, and I wonder if it was in part because she felt traumatized after having been abandoned by her human mom. I hope more individuals on the “spiritual” path can consider the feelings of others when making big decisions.
I also hope that people suffering from eating disorders and mental illness consider seeking counsel from medical professionals, licensed mental health counselors, psychiatrists, etc. Sounds like this woman ultimately found healing through a process similar to journaling, which is something she may have learned from a good therapist.

The bulimia is not put into context here, is it? She separates the bulimia problem from her life as a model, which would have demanded a very thin body.

    • @AA-zq1sx
      @AA-zq1sx Год назад

Wow... that was rude. Do you think her son would have had a more positive "perspective" if he remained in the custody of an out of control addict?? She didn't "abandon" him, she wisely let him live with his FATHER who was a stable and safe place for the boy while she got help for her issue - the best possible choice under the circumstances, especially for a three year old child who isn't going to remember any of the early years as he grows older. You are definitely not fit to judge someone else's child custody arrangement from a youtube video!
In your comment you've literally negated her entire life story, her near death experience, her healing practice, and all her incredible spiritual gifts and abilities because you don't like "spiritual" people, and assume that all "spiritual" people are brainwashed by gurus and run around hurting others and abandoning pets. Maybe you should stop projecting your personal baggage onto others, and be more respectful of a world beyond materialistic dogma.
PS. Do you worry about how much anxiety and abandonment issues you caused your partner by splitting up with him? No? What about causing anxiety to the dogs after you didn't live with them anymore? No? Did you recommend journaling and a good therapist to your ex to deal with the break up trauma? No? Well now you see how ridiculous you sound judging everybody else and acting like you have the answer.

yes, because it's all made up. A white, western woman alone and with no money wouldn't last 48 hours in Cairo never-mind 3 years. Then to claim she went from there to live in America with no money, visa or employment is absurd.

Fascinating, but, I don't think she explained ''why'' she decided to go to Egypt and then to Soudan... How did she learn that she had to go to that country. I find that part of the story very bizarre.

This is wonderful, like all that you do. But please have a native english speaker correct your translation, as there are many, small mistakes. It just would take a few minutes, but will allow you to make a stronger statement.
The last 5 but one were making money from their spiritual experience. That is find, but how can it help the incredulous - who struggle in this life's suffering?
