I'm sure he had to take elocution lessons (lessons to make the way he says things accent-less or to speak with a specific accent). (They make a lot of American actors take them so that they have a Mid-Western accent so I wouldn't be surprised if they make actors and singers in Korean learn to speak with a Seoul accent.)
