Andrew and Sarah didn't divorce because they stopped loving one another. The fact is just the opposite is true. They divorced to save their relationship, and family. The fact is they live common law, do everything as a family because they had more freedoms, and less restrictions divorced then married. Courtiers were out for blood. Did Sarah screw up, absolutely, but she was goaded into those screw ups. Courtiers wanted her to toe the line. She has repeatedly said that she thought she was marrying her man, but instead married the palace. They had no say in how often they were together, whether they did engagements together, raised their girls together. Divorcing meant palace officials no longer had the right to have a say in any of that.
Ok as one from the states I'll say this. They do love each other. Andrew never remarried and more then likely saw how hard it can be for someone who was NOT raised in royal walls and the expectations of one. Charles was given second chance why not Prince Andrew and Sarah. Neither have remarried and that say's so much for their love of each other, and their daughters. It will be interesting to watch the next generation of royals how they grow up, and what values are in stilled in them. I will say this allow them to marry the one they love and not force by royal protocol for the sake of image or title.

It is ironic that she has been vilified for her petty crimes as it were, while Andrew was protected from his! If she was not been cast out , for exposing the" sins" of forgetting the cardinal rules that many royals play out , the same or more of" those sins in private " but. "holier than thou face in public"..aided and abetted to do so amply by the courtiers.at their beck and call.. .,,, Charles wins the prize of course ! , Anne (,the other we will not mention out of respect for HM.) Andrew's, plight today., where under his mothers privilages , he hid from the law until forced by a government his mother was not Queen of ( the US) to face what every citizen in his country has to face.....Unbelievable indeed! The story of Andrews unsavory life style , may have taken a vastly different term than what he faces today..one of royal exile and ruin..if sarah had not thrown out..but trained to be what royal..means..... How sad ,this must be for the two daughters , who have spent a life time facing the ridicule their mother was subjected to, protecting her from it.. , have had to face this terrible allegations about their father...and may now see him face the allegations in a court of law , have him stripped of his status..Really feel for them..May God give them the strength and blessings to wither the storm..Yes, Sarah just might be allowed to , marry Andrew now that the Palace has discarded Andrew , who has got caught to the law despite all.. their endevours!.
