VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Mark and Billie set out on a journey to explore beautiful landscapes with the ultimate goal to be financially independent (but don't tell her boss!). The roof raise provides needed headspace, but it's their work area that stands out as spacious. I'm sure some office cubicles exist with less breathing room. Although the garage stores their central power system, it was primarily designed to fit four bikes! This doesn't even include their 600lb adventure bike that hides in the back! Do you enjoy off-road thrills? You're going to love this setup!

A raised roof school bus are they best rigs on the road! What are your thoughts?
I would love nothing more to convert a bus/van to convert into a tiny home! But we have small winding roads in UK.😭 I think you guys have done a high quality conversion, seriously one of the best one's online! Incredible you managed to squeeze in a "garage" in the back too! Well done guys! 👏🏼
I've found the raised roof designs sooo much more practical for myself and my family. We're all 6'+, and there's just no comparison between the comfort of a raised roof build and being in a standard height schoolie.

So proud of you both, I raised my children to be independent and they are they are now all grown up with grown-up children of their own who are very independent! I am a proud 71 year old full-blooded Italian matriarch of our family who is still fiercely independent after losing my childhood sweetheart in 2014. So it’s just me and the dog now and I live alone and I have to say If I were a wee bit younger this is what I’d be doing💚💚What I like about it it’s very clean without being minimalistic. As the old cliché follow your dreams, and you both are doing that, Bellissimo.

I’ve watched a lot of these Skoolie tiny home tours and this is by far my all time favorite. I’m a techie guy and I love all the integrated technology. I’m a foodie and I love the kitchen. The garage space for bikes and the back deck for a motorcycle, the roof deck…. WOW! My dream bus! Great job guys!!

The schoolie is the way to go.. it's easier to insure. Learned it can be listed as a R.V. Liked the water tank being under the bathroom floor entrance.

Hahaha, fair! Honestly, that is the only complaint we receive from friends visiting.
Such a nice conversion. One could easily just live stationary in it full time and never go anywhere. Perhaps this could be the living situation of the future for a lot of people, especially seniors on a limited income.

Beautiful, practical and intelligent bus build! Your carpenter is quite talented, indeed❣️My husband is an IT manager and we’ve been concerned about going on the road without “reliable” WIFI. Hearing that movie editing is possible... you’ve given us hope. 😃

There's been a few times Mark has had to run into town to up/download a large file, but we've been finding some solid spots for service. Really excited to see Elon Musk's new internet systems once he figures out to make it friendly for us mobile peeps!

dont limit yourself to needing a man! ive seen tons of amazing builds where a person (whatever gender they are) learned as they went using yt tutorials. go for it!
@@beel_sona As a man myself, I agree 100% that they don't need a man to help with this. I've seen several builds done by girls almost entirely by themselves (without previous experience), that are a thousand times better than anything I could hope to accomplish. On the other hand, there's nothing better than doing this kind of projects with the help from others; especially if it's a "significant other." So in that sense, and being single, I can completely empathize with both Julies

thank you y'all are such a handsome couple I've been looking at life on the road for the past couple of months. I'm a single guy in his late 50s and I want to sell my business and take my life on the road. I've seen a lot of builds, a lot of RVs, and I love this build. I have a motorcycle I'd like to take along with me so I can picture myself living in this schooli.
I love your build and optimism. I'd like to add.......sometimes it pays to not research and depend on what you're told and read. Having a true opened eye and mind works where adventurous living is concerned.
A collapsible ladder, and a wonderwash handcranked tabletop washer to do electricity free laundry. Just two helpful tips.
Great suggestions, and thank you! We do have a telescoping ladder that we do bust out for bigger projects. Mark just likes to show off to me that he can still pick me up ;). As for the wonderwash, we've thrown the idea around. Maybe we'll get one one day, but laundry mats are just so accessibly for us, and under hour and half we are done with ALL loads of mud/dirt stained mtn bike clothes, linens, comforters, outdoor blankets, and even dog beds!

I love this. All it's missing is a LG Washer. So because I live in the beautiful Caribbean I'd replace where the heater is with a Washer for sure.

as someone who has worked in teams on industrial manufacturing sites taking tours in larger groups and gathering information in smaller teams, ya'll could invest in noise cancelling headphones with the button to speak at the right ear.

Every box checked on this build! Folks are willing to pay $100s of thousands for off the lot motor coaches, whose interior aesthetic doesn't come close to this beauty!

You reconfigured all of the Windows ,not sure how I wud have addressed that without going into bodywork welding .Am fan of it happening somewhat organically.
We had to remove all the windows (and insert sheet metal in their place) for the roof raise. Luckily, Mark is an experience welder, which for sure encouraged our decision to go this route. I will say, installing RV windows has done wonders for insulation and privacy! Let us know if you ever have any questions!
