how is it that joov always manages to make it seem like it’s his first time playing something? It’s my favorite part of his content. It’s like watching someone who’s good at fighting in a game forgot all of the quest lines.

I suppose Nerbit and Joov never figured out that if you reverse pickpocket Caltrops (specifically poison Caltrops I think) into someone inventory, you can instantly kill them. Would make for a neat stealth run!
Well, Nerbit beat the entire game with only a rolling pin a short while ago while cosplaying Muriel...and it wasn't even that bad lol Imo the walking stick and pool cue are both way worse
After watching Rush Hour, the pool cue being a valid weapon makes sense. Then again, any improvised weapon in a Jackie Chan movie is great. When he punches a cue being swung at him and breaks it in half, a totally real accident, it just looked so badass.
Fun fact melee hitting a deathclaw in vats can sometimes just send them to the top of the world box. The only way I know this is common is because I’ve done the exact same thing too, was just trying to punch a deathclaw to make it kill me. My surprise when it left for a vacation to the moon
The institute rifle makes no sense. The normal lazer weapon deals better damage and the institute rifle deals less damage without any other upsides. It's not like the 9mm pistol in new vegas where it's a worse pistol but uses a different ammo type. It doesn't have a better fire rate. It's probably got a better weight but it's still just one weapon and the normal lazer weapons don't weigh that much.
Its not meant to be competitive, the institute is mass producing plastic killbots and equipping them with 3d printed garbage. It exists for the same reason pipe weaponry does, so that you can see that the people you are fighting are random cannon fodder.
