In 2.5 lac I will not prefer ev scooter. My priority will be Macho Royal Enfield
It looks good, it looks sporty especially in this red colour, touch screen looks phenomenal. So yes,I would have considered it, But range 140 & top speed 105, these are the two factors which will lead me to prefer OLA S1 Pro.
2.5 lakhs is outrageous. Even triumph 440 costs 2.3L
Even harley davidson x440 will be around 2.50lac

I think they should currently focus on making products that will sell.
Tvs should do little modifications in this and should relaunch it in petrol version as maxi scooter in affordable price.
Premium product that looks close to the concept ! Well done TVS, pricing would not be a strong suit for everyone but what else would you expect from a modern day ev, they are computers on two wheels and premium electronics don't come cheap ! Good one!

I like the design and premium quality. They could have launched the petrol version first.
Considering the premium price, the range could be better. And a detachable battery to swap them.
Symmentrically mounted rear suspension would have been better at this price.Loss of practicality due to huge battery pack.Stil Ather is the best in segment.
I think the sells of this might not be a boom because the space is not available at foot area , in India the scooter is bought when it fulfills pratical means.

@@THUGPUTINYup, I just want a small touch screen which can help me in navigation. Same goes for ola too, speakers in the top model.... it's useless, I once got scared and could have lost control of my bike when suddenly an ola passed by me at high speed with loud music.
Should have bring the 160 Apache engine for this .. the design is amazing ..

petrol version tvs xonic , BECAUSE it's millage only 140km not 240 km on minimum speed 70 km , so if there a chance to bring Petrol version so we love to use the tension free travel

Range of this scooter
TVS needs to learn, India is a Price sensitive market. The only reason ola and other companies are selling so many scooters is because of their pricing. They need to launch something in the range of 90k-1.2L if they want to really sell them.

Firstly, this product doesn't fit in FAME subsidy. Others are pricing with subsidy; once subsidy is removed, the price comparison would bring much clarity.
Secondly, TVS is not a startup to compete with more affordable (with limited scope) products. They sell many lineups in India as well as abroad.
Perhaps, an Indian company making such a bold attempt needs appreciation, keeping price aside for a while.
People giving many suggestions on how to sell in Indian market & how to make products are awesome.
@@muthuraman_100what's the point of a product if it is not going to sell. Max subsidy on electric vehicles is now 22000rs. Even with subsidy this is way too expensive. Enthusiasts will rather go for high end motorcycles like triumph or Harley instead of this
@@bigapple5842While I get your point on cost, the focus here is even beyond. If someone is very much concerned about acquisition cost, then there is no more debate needed.
Indian companies like Bajaj, Vida(Hero), TVS and startups like Ola, Ather are attempting to bring change & serve people with more concern for environment & operating economics.
Here it seems TVS has attempted to make a niche within that segment. With that context comparing an EV that has come out very nicely on Style, features & finish quality with ICE products only cost as benchmark won't do full justice.
Let's see how much the ambitious TVS can do in sales. 🤞

the scooter is so much ugly looking. Looks like a spaceship sort of. TVS should contract ISRO to provide them chandrayaan 4 design. This is the TVS which nobody asked for. Instead of this scooter they should have launched an update of apache 310 rr
