This is the problem with people who have kids together. To be fair, my father is a raging narcisist and my mother tried her utmost best to protect us from his toxic upbringing, trying to make us either slaves or fellow narcisists. When we were in our early 20s we rebelled against our mom and went to live with our dad to get to know him zo because we were done being told about him by her and wanted to get to know him ourselves. In a period of 6 years my sister developed a severe eating disorder and I developed severe depression from living with him so yeah, sometimes there are valid reasons women dont want their children to be in contact with their fathera and it isnt talked about enough.
At the same time my mother never prohibited us from having a relationship with our father but she did warn us multiple times.
I couldnt imagine being in her position as mother not wanting to keep our dad from us and at the time trying to protect us.

My dad peace'd out when I was a kid and left my mother the family on her own, barely out of her teens, herself. Looking back on it now, I can't imagine having to raise a family in your early 20's, missing out on many of the things people should enjoy that age, just to be there and give your kids the best experience they could ever imagine. I don't know their situation, and it's difficult to say what's what when you're only really getting one side of the story, but nobody showed you use their kids as a ploy to hurt the other parent. It's disrespectful to you and your family.

You don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors. Publicly, he’s pretty mad, so imagine how he might behave at home. Bi polar can affect people and families a lot so I can imagine wanting to keep someone like that away from your kids if he’s not able to parent them properly. That being said, it’s important to keep the parents around at least for things like birthdays especially if they’re actually willing to step in which is far too rare nowadays.

To his credit, divorce is not easy on anyone and it’s very evident that the media is trying to vilify his image. And the kardashians are known to have a strong media image/ connection and influence when it comes to anyone who threatens their image. It’s very clear that he wants to be in his children’s lives and bi-polar or not, unless there are legal and diagnosed mental reasons that hinder him from being a par of his kid’s lives, what the Kardashians did was utterly distasteful and ultimately damaging to the kids.

Well, to be fair, he vilified himself when he admitted that he wasn’t faithful to Kim & essentially took her for granted. You are so right and that is how it should be done if both parents dont or dont want to work well together. 4. Doesn't care about what you do. If he's never worrying about what you have going on, then he doesn't care about you. Whether you're out cheating or doing drugs ain't his business cus ur not really his girl in his eyes.
5. Acting the same way around you as he does his homeboy. If he treats you the same when they're around, then that means he isn't drawing boundaries. Dudes like to keep relationships/friendships separate for the most part. Letting them intertwine means one is clearly less important than the other most of the time.
6. Emotionally distant. Dudes aren't emotional people I'm the first place, but when it comes to females whether that family or friends we'll sometimes indulge in our emotions to make conversation with yall since yall tend to be more in touch with your emotions. If we shut that entire side of our mind off from you, we simply don't trust you with the information of what gets an emotional feedback from us. This can be the case because women tend to use your emotions/past problems or trauma against you when they're upset. Just a general lack of trust. Maybe you've shown yourself not to be trustworthy to that extent, or they've been hurt in the past and now won't open up to others because it'd be foolish to fall for the same shit twice.
7. Emotionally dependent. Piggybacking off #6, dudes aren't naturally Emotionally dependent people. If a dude is Emotionally dependent on you, and yall haven't been together for like a decade chances are he's gonna make some rash decisions when theirs turmoil in your relationship.

Honestly, I really don’t think people should be dating unless they have dealt with their trauma but realistically that’s never going to happen. I feel bad for both sides. For Kim it’s really hard to be in a relationship with someone that’s bipolar and it doesn’t look like he’s taking the steps to get help ( I could also understand him not wanting help cause he my feel it hinders his creativity). Also with all of the different stunts we’ve seen we don’t know what happens behind close doors. It could be worse. Also this does not mean she’s completely keeping the kids out of his life they agreed to joint custody. She’s allowed to have her boundaries when it comes to Kanye, cause we were not in there relationship.
Also I can understand the hurt from his side not being allowed in the party. An it’s tough growing up with separated parents. Then again he’s also very unpredictable. If they have joint custody, she has every right to not want him at the birthday party. He can have a birthday party for her and invite whoever he wants. When you have joint custody of a child you can't just force the other person to allow you to come to events on their side. We have no idea what their relationship is behind closed doors and maybe there's a reason she didn't want him there
Exactly I don’t know why people are pushing a narrative. She literally asked for joint custody. He said in the video he was supposed to be in Miami too and he stayed for the party. He wasn’t even apart of the planning. This is the same man who bought a house STATES away from their family home and expected them to pick up and move. He needs some literal help.
But what's the motivation for not wanting her dad at her party? How did he know about the party on the first place? It just seems weird...besides the fact that it's 1 event in the year, just 1. If there's a party for each child that's 3. In a year.
Also, it's not as if his public persona is super-squeaky clean, so this alternative narrative of "behind closed doors it could just be crazy" is also weird. Generally, ppl who want to hide their really crazy side perform in a much more polished way in the public than Kanye West does. It's just weird...so I would expect more ppl would side with Kanye as his position just appears more genuine, and isn't out-of-line with the kind of doting attitude he has shown toward his family.

@@antongetlow9584 have you ever had to grow up with a bipolar parent? Everything could be fine at the party an one tiny thing you wouldn’t even think of could trigger him an the whole mood is ruined. When I would visit my dad who suffers from bipolar disorder I would do something unintentionally and he would start yelling at me. I was just a kid. An I’m not saying that makes him a bad father but sometimes you need to put the kids first for certain events. Kim may not be trying to keep the kids away from him.

He doesn't seem like someone who is good at hiding, so it would seem unlikely that the children would really be a target of his outburst, given how he clearly dotes on his family. And it's also a little bit of a stretch to think that KK, given what she presents, is more concerned about his interaction with his daughter than she is about her own level of comfort...but, again,in all fairness, you did present a realistic possibility.

Man Travis Scott ain't in the best of places but good on him for looking out! I hate fucking women who do that to there kids, I grew up without a dad and so did my husband and I made sure it was in our prenup papers that as long as we shared parenting responsibilities nobody would have to pay child support, and no one would have to worry about paying a lawyer!

It’s not illegal to not allow your child’s father to be at a specific event for your child. This all depends of course
On the custody agreement of the parents or any court orders. Usually birthdays get split on the primary day with each alternating parent getting the second day after the child’s birthday. Or the day gets split in half.
What Kim is doing is in no way fucked up assuming he is allowed to see his kids otherwise and parents do this type of thing all the time!

Idk. If I was separated from my wife and we had a kid and she threw that kid a party, I know I’m just as capable of throwing a party also. So that’ll be the party she spends with her mom, and I’ll hold one for me as her dad. It’s not like she said “you can’t see the kid for their birthday” she just didn’t want him to be at the party she was throwing. I guess I can see both sides but idk. I wouldn’t want my ex showing up to a party I throw for our kids if she’s been obsessively trying to get back with me as I’m trying to move on. She can do her own thing with the kids.

No offense, but her body count and the way she decides to alter her body has nothing to do with parenting. If anything, at least she isn’t having public mental breakdowns every other month for everyone to see and always airing out private business that involves their kid (so that it’ll also directly effect her too because she’s old enough to be on social media).
