Great job by all!!! I've ran a similar setup for awhile now and as like ypu said it works for some parking lot bashing and some higher speeds. Involving the kids is epic...i try to mine as much as possible...memories they will remember forever!! 💯🔥💥🚀
@@JoeGerdingRc thank you very much!!! We are having a blast and the infraction is one of my favorites for sure!! The kids are having fun as well. I hope they keep it going into the future!!!
Very nice build. I'm running the same set up but had drama with the rear center dog bone.i went with a scorched pinocchio spool & shafts...went with PP spool & carbon shafts in my limitless...I personally like the arrma heat sink on the motor but Power Hobby has a 47-49mm mount that will except 2x 40mm rocket fans...also if you want grip go with grp tires. Hoons are no good around a hundred
@@stephencartwright9792 that’s a bummer on the rear shaft but understandable due to its length. I have a drag limitless we are working on that has the Perfect Pass setup as well. I think I like the scorched setup a little more. We are definitely going to GRPs as well, just wanted to see what we could do since it’s just a bash build
Awesome build man and i loved the video, 86 on 6s then 103 on 8s that's smoking fast i just bought my first Arrma on road platform a Felony and i might do some of the same mods you have on that Infraction you have. I already have a Castle MMX8s\1717 1,650kv combo for it i pulled from my XO-1 that was my first high speed on road platform but had a lot of issues with but will fix someday but i want to try out my new Arrma for awhile.
@@818_Custom_Garage Thank you for the kind words, I got the chance to run my new Arrma Felony yesterday for a short bit and it handled amazing. and with some trimming on the steering it went straight as an arrow and compared to my XO-1 the Felony is so much easier to drive. My XO-1 would dance all around on the road and would need constant trimming.
@@cjchannel12RC I built an XO-1 drag/speed run car for someone and it was always tough to get to run straight. I finally had it running straight once I worked on the alignment and added a slight toe out which adds a little drag but made a huge improvement
@@818_Custom_Garage Neat idea, I should try that when i get my XO-1 back up and running next month since i took all the electronics out of it for the Felony. But i do have an older Hobbywing Max 6 G1\4985 1,650kv combo i'm going to put in the XO-1.
hey love your video. please tell me how you removed the red top base plate in the front by the shock tower. I'm struggling with mine. I want to fit the scortched carbon centre brace.. thnk you
@@marcfitrcanthony6419 there are the screws on the top that need to be removed. You also need to remove the upper hinge pins as the rear hinge pin brace is screwed to the top plate
The only thing I think was work you didn’t need to do was that gaudy heat sink😳 they make way nicer ones out of better aluminum (draws heat faster) for a few bucks since you have the fan… just my opinion… awesome build other than that bro🤙🏻
@@818_Custom_Garage I’ll get the brand and get it to you better. If you like they have set ups with a thermostat that doesn’t run the fan unless it reaches a certain temp..
@@shaneogarro it’s not the cheapest, but could be done and a smaller budget. You could keep everything pretty stock and just do the ESC and motor combo. I would definitely tune the diff and center or do a spool
@@shaneogarro just take your time and patience. I honestly look at a lot of the schematics for the cars to see how they are assembled before I just jump in. You will pick a lot up by just doing and testing
If your going to bash it, leave it as a 6s. All that nice new carbon fiber will crack, and you will be back to stock. The big tire arrma are for bashing. You bash with that esc it will thermo lock on you. Keep bashing it will pop the caps on the side of that esc. 6s is good for bashing and drifting.
@@818_Custom_Garage Firstly I want to say great video bro! Secondly, I disagree with Jason, I own at least 10 mmx8s and I've used them on 8s street bashers geared for about 100-110 and I've never blown an mmx8s from street bashing like that. It will overheat though and that is the main reason I started changing most of my street bashers to the xlx2. You won't blow up that mmx8s imo. 😎👍
@@BeautyBeastRC thanks bud!!! The plan will most likely be to run on 6s most of the time and maybe switch to 8s for some chill speed runs. Agree the XLX2 is the way to go for sure!!!
Good job Grace
