This feels like a fever dream, which makes me curious now. What if ai is just the unconcious brain? It makes imaginary scenes using what it learned and what it knows about the real world, and scenes can go from scarily realistic to horrifying and surreal. What if AI is just a sleeping brain and that's why it's not concious or sel-aware? Us in our dreams sometimes know we're dreaming, but ai doesn't, or does it? If ai can know if it's "dreaming", would this be the key to it finally waking up and gaining full conciousness and self-awareness? What would the ai do if it were to become "awake"? What would we see in the ai? Would it behave the same? Or will it perform so much better? Maybe it performs worse?
This reminds me of those long single shots I movies that has the camera fly all around the characters and makes a lot of subtle changes in the background. The moves War of The Worlds has a shot like this.
