I tried to explain this anime and manga to someone else and they were just freaking confused by the relationships between Yuki and Zero. They were also confused by the relationship between Yuki and Kaname.
Its simple, yuki love kaname but respect zero feelings towards her and his sad past coz of the vampires ...she was treat him like her brother untill he showed that his thought towards her has another intention...
