brother, for relief valve of first stage lifting you said discharge valve of first stage not opening as a one of the cause please elaborate this. i didn't get this point. My doubt is relief valve located after the discharge valve so how the discharge valve not opening causes the relief valve lifting.
he's wrong. relief vv of first stage is lifting 1 suction of second stage is not opening 2 suction of second stage is leaking 3 rv is faulty 4 choked intercooler. ,
If the discharge valve of second stage is not opening than the suction valve of second stage will not open and hence pressurize the dischage of first stage and the valve is lift…sir is right
Walekumassalam This question is rarely asked. I searched a lot but only got this. To test the pressure relief valve functionality, turn the system on and bring it up to operating pressure. Pull the ring on the pressure relief valve to depressurize the system (some relief valves have hand testing levers given for testing, the same can be done). Turn the system off, and ensure the system comes back to operating pressure when the system is restarted.
