I guess you could say that this deck has only one purpose and that it's spending more money for the bigger book, lol.
Props to the people who know all of the goddesses depicted in this deck and can come up with something though!
I'm very tough when it comes to buying oracle decks (I only own 3. 1 of them being centered in Norse mythology. 1 of them just pretty with a random keyword or keywords -but the guidebook is very useful- and the last one being just beautiful artwork but understandable keywords but also leaning to a certain culture(s) near to me that I have fascination with so I understand some cards since the other ones are just plain simple with basic keywords) and well, I don't use them as much as tarot.
This deck you're showing has beautiful artwork, yes, and I think the specific problem this deck has is: it is just a portrait oracle with a keyword or keywords (which it's how I see 90% of the oracles in the market, both, by publishers and indie oracles).
I don't trust when simple (as in what's represented in the artwork since an elaborated and detailed artwork gives more intuition) decks need a separate guidebook/book to buy, no matter how pretty the artwork is for me (I only made 1 exception once and never again -I wasn't disappointed but sometimes I smell the cash-grab. Sorry for the creators, specially independent ones, that do this and I absolutely understand them from their POV but I think there's also a time in which you need to respect the consumers too (specifically indie creators, depending on how much the deck was imo) ).

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! I feel the same way. Mostly I’m just disappointed that there’s a separate book to be purchased to really be able to work with these cards.

I agree. I have one oracle deck. It's Moonology Manifestation Oracle. I like it because I already know astrology pretty well. I use it for Planet-Sign-House readings. I'll switch out Pisces for South Node and Aquarius for North Node. But the keywords don't help.

I feel the same way about the Tarot of the Divine, which I know is a fan favourite. I struggle with the stories and images, and I can't get intuitive hits, however the artwork is absolutely stunning.
Maybe you can use your deck as an art project?

I totally get that! I do find the Tarot of the Divine easier to read than the Legendary Ladies. I don’t do art myself, so don’t have any uses for this deck unfortunately 😕

I bought it because I liked the art style a lot too and because I wanted to have some deck to work with goddess energy, but didn't work with it much because of its size. I can't raffle shuffle and it's very difficult for me to shuffle them from hand to hand, but I remember the few cards I drew back there in the past seemed just kind of too general for my question, so that's probably the reason why I wasn't drawn back to them again for some time. And since then I found few other oracle decks that works for me much better (though they're not goddesses oracle decks), I think I should let this one go as well. But perhaps I should try to work with a bit more before doing it, it deserves at least some chance I guess :)
(and I don't have a big book and certainly don't think of buying even if I could get it)

Yeah I totally feel you! I usually don’t “just” rehome my decks, I give them a fair shot to stay in my collection. I hope you find a way to work with it and otherwise find a good home for it ☺️
