30 odd years ago, some environmentalist dude, said (that if he could just get the friggin' permission) he could have the Dingo problem sorted within a week or fortnight. All he needed was a small handheld slingshot/catapult/gidgy and a pocket full of pebbles. Every dingo that got too close to him, a human, got a pebble pinged on the bum. As long as people don't feed them, they would soon learn to stay away from humans or ya gets a sore backside ! Note in Yankeeland where people like Forest Rangers are allowed guns, they use a special rubber ammunition in a shotgun to send bears, uninjured but with an attitude adjustment, on their way, back into the bush.
That was very good, sharing Butchulla knowledge and giving work to the young ones. Oh btw, dingoes did not descend from wolves, as was originally thought, but with modern research from scientists like Dr. Kylie Cairns the evidence about the dingoes ancestry has been discovered.
I'm in Texas and would like to know where and how I could buy a Butchulla Dingo Stick Are Butchulla Dingo Sticks sold online ? If not, how can I buy one without a trip to K'Gari ?
The Australian natives have lived 100,000 years with the native dogs, yet the government wants the dingoes dead 😢 they keep using 1080 baits 😢 which don't just kill the dingoes it kills every native animal , but the government won't stop using it 😢
Dingos have only been in Australia around 4000yrs, introduced from Asia. It regrettably lead to the demise of the Thylacine, just as more recent introduced predators, cats and foxes, are continuing to do now.
ABC Australia, I loved this video so much, I had to hit the like button!

Good to see land being cared for by those who know it the most. Surely this is the way of the future for all of Australia's wild places. 👍

1080 is your friend
1080 should be banned in Australia like it is nearly everywhere else in the world. It is absolutely horrific.

Banning campers and day trippers would be a better move.
