Notice how it's the only one rolled up in a ball. 2. The piece with 'egg' written on it is actually a paper egg balled up with a reagent inside that, when shook/jostled, releases a gas that expands the paper egg into its bloated form. 3. There was a real egg in his pocket, some slight of hand and voila; real egg is switched out, cracked and the rest is your brain thinking it's all the same egg you saw.
His EYES are magic! I enjoyed his style, presentation, and delivery; he engages us well and I can see he really captivated his audience! This guy definitely deserves to have his own show or something -- I'd love to see more of him. I especially liked watching his paper-to-egg trick and hearing him tell a childhood story about his grandfather. That was so sweet. *:)* All in all, Ben is truly entrancing!

I think more than the magic, it's the presentation that is the key, which makes it impressive. Otherwise on the teleporting act, how obvious can it be. He sends the paper plane into the audience, the random lady who catches the plane is given a pen that has no ink and does not work. But since she is writing behind her back, she thinks she marked on the paper. But in reality, the paper plane already has a mark on the pre determined seat where one of his people is sitting. That person has a twin who is already hidden under the 2nd enclosure, so when the curtain falls, the so called random person from the audience goes under the cover in the enclosure 1, while her twin climbs from underneath the other enclosure. And she acts all surprised confused when the curtain raises, obviously, part of the act. Its magic, we just enjoy it.

The one with Annika i would say that the plan had a mark before on Annikas seat and the woman with the pen did not leave any mark because it was a dry pen and Annika and her Twin sister is part of Bens Act. But its all really well performed and hope he is making more tricks in the future because he is very talented. Don't know the other ones, but i think there are already reveals on RUclips as well.

Look at 12:23, Amanda is looking at David and Alesha not so sure about standing up and you can clearly see Alesha and David ordering her to sit down. That's a shame! I'm impressed by his choice of magical material as well as his flawless execution and compelling stage presence and staging. He's an effective conjuror, through and through!
The effects don't seem too difficult, but rather the methods are just so elegantly designed. Every action has justification and doesn't leave the audience to ask why. Incredible way to setup so many loads and ditches. Really beautiful routines.
This was perfect! His act was so amazing, it makes you believe that true magic is real and it’s not just an illusion. These are the magicians I want to see, the ones that truly leave me speechless and thinking magic is a real thing.

Simon claims to hate magic acts but watching his face when he watches them is a treasure. He is always so absolutely mesmerised and baffled. Exactly right.
Actually, he claims to love and respect magic acts. On the newer episodes released just since covid has been a thing, when the show was released on Hulu, he makes that very clean during a magical act. He's loud and proud and seemingly passionate about how he welcomes and even UNDERSTANDS it for what it is
The best trick on here was Simon's hair getting darker as he got younger as time went on. The illusionist shows up and Simon is gray. Next time he says, "Last time I was here..." and SImon's hair is dark ! MAGIC ! :)

We all know the magic is illusion only. it is not so difficult to figure out ho he does it. you just have to know you can fold a piece of paper in a way, so it will open it self to a ball when bounced. know about twins, know about decks where every second card is smaller than normall. and slide of hands and so on. but he is good.

Watching this spectacular performance a second time. First time I watched this guy on TV . I am a huge fan of him . Someone is right : this guy has all it takes to become both an actor n a magician . He is amazing !
First trick: he selects the paper, it isnt random, its stuck to the fan all along, so he knows it Will read ‘egg’. The egg part is slight of hand, he swaps the beanbag on the fan for an egg at some point. Trick 2: he does threw the paper plane out to a random person, but the pen she is using doesnt write anything, instead there is a preplaced dot on the map. The woman who ultimately gets chosen for the act is an actress. When she is placed in the cage and the curtain falls down, she hides in a secret compartment, while her twin/lookalike emerges from the other cage.

Y’all are so damn nosy, like I understand it’s a public forum and everyone is free speech here but to state you had to watch in slo-mo to watch how the trick happened is funny to me. You see magicians who replicate a bar setting need to take the eyes away from the viewers. It looks different in person. You wouldn’t have saw the magician stow the card in his hand as you were focused on simons hand. You wouldn’t have seen the confetti fall as you would’ve been focusing on the egg forming. If you really wanted to watch magic go watch Penn and Teller. They literally can see through most magic tricks known to man, that’s why hardly anyone wins their show. Otherwise this is just for entertainment it’s natural camera cuts will be done and not all these magicians are used to doing magic with cameras on all angles. So you have to appreciate that they’re trying their best as magicians aren’t the best for this

I'm impressed by his choice of magical material as well as his flawless execution and compelling stage presence and staging. He's an effective conjuror, through and through!
The effects don't seem too difficult, but rather the methods are just so elegantly designed. Every action has justification and doesn't leave the audience to ask why. Incredible way to setup so many loads and ditches. Really beautiful routines.

@Stephen Glarvey Agree, too many camera angles and surplus footage, tempts the editor not to waste them but over use, which makes 'special moments' appear repetitive. Simon in his pre-botox, pre-grey hair days was less manufactured and more fun to watch.

Simon claims to hate magic acts but watching his face when he watches them is a treasure. He is always so absolutely mesmerised and baffled. Exactly right.

Actually, he claims to love and respect magic acts. On the newer episodes released just since covid has been a thing, when the show was released on Hulu, he makes that very clean during a magical act. He's loud and proud and seemingly passionate about how he welcomes and even UNDERSTANDS it for what it is
The best trick on here was Simon's hair getting darker as he got younger as time went on. The illusionist shows up and Simon is gray. Next time he says, "Last time I was here..." and SImon's hair is dark ! MAGIC ! :)

it is not so difficult to figure out ho he does it. you just have to know you can fold a piece of paper in a way, so it will open it self to a ball when bounced. know about twins, know about decks where every second card is smaller than normall. and slide of hands and so on. but he is good.

First trick: he selects the paper, it isnt random, its stuck to the fan all along, so he knows it Will read ‘egg’. The egg part is slight of hand, he swaps the beanbag on the fan for an egg at some point.
Trick 2: he does threw the paper plane out to a random person, but the pen she is using doesnt write anything, instead there is a preplaced dot on the map. The woman who ultimately gets chosen for the act is an actress. When she is placed in the cage and the curtain falls down, she hides in a secret compartment, while her twin/lookalike emerges from the other cage.

Y’all are so damn nosy, like I understand it’s a public forum and everyone is free speech here but to state you had to watch in slo-mo to watch how the trick happened is funny to me. You see magicians who replicate a bar setting need to take the eyes away from the viewers. It looks different in person. You wouldn’t have saw the magician stow the card in his hand as you were focused on simons hand. You wouldn’t have seen the confetti fall as you would’ve been focusing on the egg forming. If you really wanted to watch magic go watch Penn and Teller. They literally can see through most magic tricks known to man, that’s why hardly anyone wins their show. Otherwise this is just for entertainment it’s natural camera cuts will be done and not all these magicians are used to doing magic with cameras on all angles. So you have to appreciate that they’re trying their best as magicians aren’t the best for this
