What's your favourite V12, the SVJ or 812? 🤔
i don't think the svj and 812 gts is a fair comparison. Imo the svj is better but if it was a 812 comp it would have been much closer

Totally agree! It's very comfortable the 812! It's a shame that it doesn't compare to the experience of deriving the SVJ though otherwise, it would be perfect 😔
Tough one for me as I’m a Ferrari fan through and through but seeing that SVJ parked next to it, 😬 I might just take it!

Both are amazing, but for me, I would sacrifice the crazy styling and those doors and go with the Rarri 812 as I do travel down to kent a lot, which is a long drive form where I live (about 90 miles) so would like comfort but power to keep me awake l.😊
Good choice! The comfort of the 812 is so good in comparison! Shame about the less aggressive look however 🥲
@wam_barn agree on that 100% I feel Ferrari could have done better styling wise with the 812, the TDF looked awesome personally, same as the Pista
AFAIC, if the SVJ had a good DCT, it would be the clear winner. But because of it's rodeo style SCT, those who want a smooth & comfy ride will go for the Ferrari & those who want to be Han Solo in a road going Millennium Falcon, will take the SVJ. I'll take the SVJ...Gr8 vid..

The SVJ, just looks and sounds slightly better… the 812 is still amazing but SVJ looks more like a supercar😁
If there was the 812 Competizione instead, it would've ticked a lot of boxes coz it looks, sounds and drives better

Yes, but we don't have a Competizione in the collection hence the 812 GTS (it was more of a V12s from the collection comparison, not the main competitor).

To make it very fair comparison it would have to be SVJ with 812 Competizione. SVJ is a track car and Competizione as well. Regular 812 is a pure GT car with engine under the hood. The only thing is Competizione is on a different price bracket lol. In fact I’m sure most of us take Competizione over Lambo. In this video I would probably take SVJ as well but in a long run I think Ferrari will be a better collectible car.
Agree with the Comp comparison, but our review was just of cars currently in the collection. We’d love to do one properly on track in the future, planning to do so with multiple other cars and have lots of comparisons. The comp currently is way overpriced, will be good to look once the market goes somewhat back to normal as they are a cool car! Yeah definitely😁
@@wam_barn Unfortunately Competizione prices more likely will never go down because of what it is (no battery, one of the last v12 and ultra rare model). Just like F12 tdf. Competizione is definitely not worth $2M, not even close! But this how much are people willing to spend
Definitely prefer the SVJ. Little bias, but generally overall has that 'supercar' feel. The 812 is beautiful and has some great lines, but also has a little bit of a long penis-y front end. Still, this is aesthetically motivated above those other metrics. Nice video chaps.

I have the lucky that i can try the 812super (is of the president of a enterprise that my dad is working/small partner).
However i can say that 812 is way less rare than Ferrari said , but im agree with you that the SVJ is better even if slower on acceleration but strangely have a bit more of top speed than 812.
Also the SVJ is my dream car but when i will have the money to buy one it would be 5× the price probably.
Also the SVJ beat the Zonda R and GT2RS in Nürburgring by going 1 or 2 time , meanwhile Porsche goes 2time a month
Yeah we thought that too about the rarity, after seeing how many were for sale it just didn’t match up… the SVJ does feel ever so slightly slower, it’s not massively noticeable but you can tell. Very cool car!

@@wam_barn lol how is that comparable, the Comp goes for around 1.7m used. I can get an SVJ right now for 700k lol. The GTS is much closer of a comparison to an SVJ than a SVJ to a Comp.
